The left hand grip fitted perfect and was such a good fit it did not ...
I bought these for my Harley Davidson MT350. Took about an hour to fit, because it has no fairing and tank + seat come off with just one bolt. The left hand grip fitted perfect and was such a good fit it did not need adhesive. I decided to use UHU multi-purpose glue on the throttle side as the fit was a bit more snug and I thought the superglue provided might be a problem if it set before I got the grip fully seated. As it happens a thin smear of UHU works a little like a lubricant whilst tacky, but was set solid after 24 hours so worked quite well. Had a few runs out in sub freezing, and grips heat up quick. After 10 mins I have to turn them down one notch, sometimes two. I imagine when weather warms up, it might need turning down one more. The adjustments are quite fine so getting the right amount of heat is easier than on most brands. Had to trim about 5mm off the length of the grips as I have hand-guards fitted, but the grips allow for that. Material and grip feels good as expected from the adventure version and goes well with an enduro style bike. The battery saver feature works well and makes it a very simple install - no need for a relay. The "intelligent" controller can tell when the engine is stopped and switches the grips off for you. Instructions were adequate, and I don't know why so many people have been bitching about the install. If you have a bit of mechanical ability and some common sense it's really quite easy. I know it may be different on other machines, but think you would encounter same situations with other brands. I'm thinking of buying another set to replace my troublesome OEM heated grips on my Triumph Tiger 1050 which cost £200 and only have two settings - only other difference is that the OEM ones you can feed the wires down the inside of the bars, but it's much more fiddly and less reliable and they are not generic. Nicely thought our product and nicely made IMO - well worth a look for £55.

Takes a bit to get warm, but stays warm.
A must for late season riding. Paired up with some super cheap handguards, I rarely have to go above 50% on these. Fingertips still chill a bit, but changing grip alleviates that. Wiring is a piece of cake too. I already have an ignition on relay, but the battery saving mode for when you haven't seems to function well (no more bump starts!) I would maybe recommend using different glue rather than super for install, as you get basically no adjustment time. Think I only needed it clutch side though, throttle side was a good fit (and I haven't managed to shift it yet) Heat does take a few mins to come through, but you never notice in reality. I had a place to bolt on, so didn't use the bar clamp. I did add a cable tie to the sheathing that joined to the bottom of the control unit to keep water out.

Definitely hot enough, easy install, will install these on any bike I own.
Very easy to install on my Versys 650, including trimming of part of the 'trimmable' section with a Stanley knife, and not worrying about wiring a relay in powered by the ignition due to the auto power saving feature in case you forget to turn them off. Not been in any proper cold weather with them yet, but from testing them out on more chilly days with thin leather gloves, they heat up evenly and get extremely hot! I can't see myself using anything more than 50% power for more than just getting them up to temperature faster. Only gripeI have with them is the unsightly cable they leave poking out quite far, especially as there needs to be enough slack in it to accommodate turning the throttle grip. Thankfully I'm not too fussed about looks and love the practicality and easy installation of them.

Used on many motorcycles
This is the only heated grip product I will use, I've tried others but these are the best, nice firm grip that gets hot, with a good range of heat control and even when wired direct to the battery the controller will turn the grips off when the motor is not running (life saver) the adventure grips are the best they are bigger and cut down more, great product at a great price.

Very good grips, but over time they do lose function
Bought these to replace the OEM ones on my Tiger (they wanted £3-400 to replace!) Pretty simple to put on, instructions were okay but not great, I had to cut the ends but there was no mention of how far up the wires went so that's something that needs addressing! Had on now for a few years, they still work and heat up but anything below the two highest setting is not at all noticeable. The battery saver function works, but can take a moment to kick-in

Warm :-)
This is the first time I've installed heated grips myself. If you have any electrical DIY knowledge (if you can change a plug no problem) they are easy to fit. The cable to the battery is plenty long enough to allow you to find the best routing to the handlebars; fitting the grips themselves was easy too. Please keep in mind that you will need some sort of adhesive to ensure they don't rotate later. Make sure too the both your brake and clutch levers are not hindered by the cable connection into the grips. A squirt of hairspray did the trick for me, some months on and several thousand miles they haven't moved. If you forget to turn them off after a ride they will automatically turn off (after a few minutes) once the battery has stopped charging; so no flat battery! Very pleased and would recommend to anyone wishing to ride in colder weather. I have hand guards also fitted which I'm sure also helps as it diverts the wind away from my hands.

Great for toasty hands in cold weather.
Great for keeping your hands warm in the winter! For my 10 mile commute these are a god send and keep my hands nice and warm in the coldest weather. These are a fraction long for my KTM RC 125 but they help so much I don’t really care.

Work really well - have to turn down after a while

The connectors are terrible tamiya connectors and mine broke when connecting them the first time. The grips themselves feel good, but I would have expected higher quality wiring from a reputable brand such as oxford. This type of plug is typically found in cheap children's toys and rc cars.
