I have an. 2 year old lab and ordered this almost a year ago to train him but made the mistake of not using it consistently and only on recall while using various other tools like prong collars and tons of treats to train him on everything else. A month ago I took him to a dog behavioral therapist who told me to only use the e-collar for everything. The results have been amazing!! From obedience in the house to walking and recall. I can even take my dog off leash now and have no doubt he will come back when I command. It doesn’t hurt him when training and the highest level out of 136 I’ve used is 20 when there were a ton of distractions and was the nick while we were practicing loose leash walking. No shock but the vibration button works great for obedience and teaches quickly what is acceptable and what is not. Money well spent!!
