Low price, great size
This is a great option for chickpea flour. A great price for a good size bag. I use it for making Celariac and courgette fritters mixed with a little halloumi. A truly delicious snack. Itโs also gluten free which gives it a good tick in the box.

Great Quality Chickpea Flour
This is very nice quality chickpea flour and good value for money. I toasted a batch in the oven and use it for thickening soups and sauces. It works very well.

Old India Chickpea Flour 1Kg is a fantastic pantry staple
If you're looking for a versatile and healthy flour, Old India Chickpea Flour is a great choice. It comes in a 1Kg bag, which is a good amount. It's naturally gluten-free! This means people who can't eat regular wheat flour can still enjoy delicious food. It's packed with goodness! Chickpea flour has lots of protein and fiber, which are good for your body. It's super versatile! You can use it to make all sorts of things, like: Pakoras: Crispy and tasty fried snacks. Pancakes: A yummy twist on breakfast. Flatbreads: Soft and warm, perfect for dipping. And to thicken sauces: it's a great way to make sauces creamy. The Old India brand: It's a well known brand, so you can generally expect a good quality product.

Good quality flour, but pricey for 1kg
Nice chickpea flour. It has a good fine texture and works well for cooking, especially for batters, coating and thickening sauces. The quality seems good and it tastes fresh, so no complaints with the actual product. My only issue is the price for the amount you get. 1kg does not go that far if you use it regularly, so it feels a bit expensive. Good flour, just wish it was better value.

Not used before buying this one but it's really been great. Recommended.
I have been making gluten & dairy free bread for my wife and although I use another flour blend of tapioca, rice & potato and amongst other ingredients I used egg whites which my wife can have to help bind the bread and help it keep structure. Egg whites are not too convenient and i read chickpea flour could be used instead of egg white if mixed with a suitable amount of water. So now i use this in the recipes instead and as well as being easy to store without going off as quick as eggs (by a long way) or as fiddly, I can add just the right amount to get good texture to the loaf that the wife likes. I don't use much but it has made a fantastic difference. Recommended.
