It automatically scans for DAB stations when first turned on. It has a very easy to set alarm, wake to buzzer, cd or dab. I don't write very many reviews, but I feel that I owe it to Yamaha because this is a serious piece of kit. I couldn't get the colour I was after, my fault for leaving it too long, but who cares any colour will do if it sounds like this. Fantastic. Update - Now I have had it a while, not impressed with CD player which to be quite honest, is crap. It constantly has reading problems. I cant believe it is a yamaha. In the past always bought LG or Sony.
