Light 30 second puffs of mist or non stop misting *by J***G on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2018* I buy these every few months and I usually look for the most inexpensive yet not hard on the eye, the inner fan works quietly until it is just needs a break or it's time for a new purchase. This brand has proven to be the most reliable out of the many brands I've purchased. Very easy to clean, attention to the maintenance of the unit is very important. As the oil does build up directly over the seemingly most important feature: the housed fan beneath the unit. Clean every 2 or 3 days [heavy usage] helps keep the unit cool, unclogged and fresh. Not so heavy usage [daily about 6 -12 hrs] maybe 4 days but if there is water in the well & depending on your mole or dust daily accumulations never allow water to stand🤔🤔🤔 my unit once collected one tiny spot I immediately cleaned it and vigilently care for my units as they care for my family. Unused water before the first issue of mold should be dumped & wiped clean. Never reuse unit when a milky approximately 1/2 inch sluggish water leftover accumlation remain in well during re usage. When needed use 1 drop of dish detergent on paper towel after wipe with clean water [a friend of mine uses vinegar] DO NOT USE HARSH DETERGENT! As I'm sure you want your family to breath in clean air. Use only distilled, filtered or spring water in the diffuser. TIP: Always remember to REPLACE INNER CAP ONTO WELL.
