This hydrocortisone ointment is THE best! It is very effective at relieving itching and clearing up rashes. It is thick, but it spreads easily and goes on smoothly. It is water resistant. It does not smell bad. It is much more effective than generic versions. It is high quality and well worth the money.

My doctor told me to use Cortisone 10 for a skin issue, but when I tried the cream version, it caused a strong burning sensation that was really uncomfortable. I switched to the gel instead, and what a difference! The gel went on smoothly, felt cooling, and worked without any pain or irritation. It helped calm my skin quickly and was much gentler than the cream. If the cream feels too harsh for you, definitely give the gel a try — it worked great for me.

I've never expected this ointment to be much better than it says. No smell, it stops the itch and the discomfort quickly. Unsurprisingly, it also repairs the damaged skin, like a rash, redness. The 2oz size is pretty good! Someone said the box is not strong enough, which I totally agree with. But as a matter of the effectiveness of the itch relief, it's perfect for me.

Works great, does exactly what it's supposed to do. You cannot beat the value for the money by buying it on Amazon, it is much cheaper by buying this larger tube, than it is buying the smaller tubes at the grocery store / pharmacy. The speed of the itch relief is wonderful. Again this large size saves a lot (a lot) of money, I will be buying the same product again, there's no better endorsement than that..

In the past year I started getting eczema in my right hand and it only was getting worse. I tried using aquaphor and cerave ointment to moisturize my hands but it didn’t help with the itching. I would itch my hands in my sleep even after applying those 2 ointments. I finally got tired of having flaky and cracked hands so I bought this. The pictures are only 1 week apart and it has helped with the itching and dryness SO MUCH. I absolutely love this product. In my second picture you can see that all the redness is pretty much gone and there’s no flaking at all. I only apply it 2-3 times a day and it works WONDERS! It is pretty oily like Vaseline but I’m willing to look past that since it works so well. I also did some research and found out that lotion/creams are not moisturizing enough for eczema… so ointment it is!!! Anyways, this is my savior and I will keep buying this, and you should too if you have eczema that itches like crazy at night.
