Decent quality door latch for washing machine. Having recently replaced the motor bushes on our ageing washing machine a different fault code appeared a couple of weeks after original repair. Turned out to be worn door latch. Ordered this item to affect repair. Easily installed and washing machine working fine again with no error codes since repair.

Replacement worked a treat and saved me having to buy a new washing machine and was the fastest solution to a precarious situation, best value saving ever. The serial number matched the one I took out and was easy to replace.

My Hoover washing machine displayed 8 padlock symbol flashes which after a search meant locking mechanism error. Old latch (photo) had 2 lugs on it, but new one only had one and a screw hole to secure it which is better. Washing machine immediately worked once fitted. Couldn't be happier for 9 Euro. Arrived in 2 days. Like for like product and easily removed and fitted thanks to youtube😅

Ordered yesterday after the old one broke and it arrived today! Gotta love prime. I thought all was lost and even started to look at new machines in despair at the thought of being around £500 lighter! I had a little look inside the machine realised I could probably easily replace the part myself and found this little beauty for a very decent price. It was worth a shot anyway. I replaced it in minutes and it works a treat. It was slightly larger than the original so had to file the metal hole in the machine a little and then it easily popped in. Secured with the original screw as this does not come with its own. I've done two loads since with no issue and now I'm being treated to a nandos for saving the household lots of pennies. Who needs an engineer! If anyone is interested my machine is a Hoover and not anything new, it was not listed as a machine it fitted but I cross checked it on the hoover parts website against one that did fit it and one of those listed on here. Hope that makes sense!

Product came next day, at a cost, but worth it. My washing machine door wouldn’t close, thought the lock was faulty, the lock arrived with no instructions, but found some on line, taking of the outer part of the rubber seal, unplugged the unit, and plugged in the new unit, replaced the seal, very easy and done with a phillips screwdriver, and knife. Unfortunately this didn’t fix the issue, I still couldn’t close the door, so the only other thing it could be was the latch on the door inself. Took off the door, unscrewed the rim, and found the pin which holds the latch in place had come out on one side, slid this back in place replaced the door and it worked perfectly. Have now kept my old lock as a spare. Would definitely purchase again from this supplier, to purchase from Hoover it was £25, I paid £7 for the part and £4 for next day delivery!

Ordered and delivered on time, items is as described and works great. Easy fitting if a good DIYer Item was to replace a broken original machine part, and is a prefect match.
