My journey with the KTEBO electric lighter
Bought this to light candles like a normal adult with ambiance goals and a faint interest in self care. On that front, it performs flawlessly. Pruced for value. Instant and easy ignition, no flame, no wind issues, satisfying little bzzt like youโre jump-starting a very polite robot. The safety lock works. The battery lasts forever. The see-through design lets you watch electricity do its thing, which feels both educational and vaguely forbidden. Week one. Candles only. Birthday candles. Scented candles. That one candle you forgot you owned. Five stars. Responsible. Mature. Week two. I notice it lights anything that wants to be lit. Twine. Incense. Grill starters. Campfire kindling. Old receipts. A loose thread on a hoodie. Still fine. Still normal. Still five stars. Week three. I learn this lighter does not judge. It doesnโt ask questions. It just delivers plasma. I begin experimenting. โข Lit a marshmallow directly. โข Lit a marshmallow that was already on fire, just to see what would happen. โข Sealed the end of a shoelace. โข Melted a frayed plastic tag. โข Started a fire pit during heavy wind like a wizard. โข Tested whether paper towels fear electricity. They do. By week four, the lighter has been promoted from โcandle accessoryโ to โhousehold problem solver.โ Freezer stuck shut? Not anymore. Birthday cake candles relit mid-song. Bug zapper adjacent activities. Art projects that did not need to involve fire but absolutely benefited from it. At some point I realized I was carrying it around the house with intention. Like a tool. Like a companion. Like something that should probably not be left within reach of my own curiosity. Final thoughts: This is an excellent candle lighter. It is also a tiny handheld portal to chaos. Rechargeable. Windproof. Safe. Until it meets someone with ideas. Would buy again. Would not give to my past self.

Convenient, QuickโLighting, and So Much Better Than Disposable Lighters
These electric lighters are incredibly convenient and a great value. They have a long neck that makes lighting candles easy, and the flameless arc gives a quick, clean, smokeless ignition every time. They recharge fast using a standard USB cord, which makes them far more practical than constantly buying disposable or refillable lighters. The battery doesnโt last an extremely long time per charge, but the battery indicator helps you know exactly when itโs time to plug in again. For everyday candle use, they work perfectly. Overall, a reliable, easyโtoโuse lighter that saves money and eliminates the hassle of traditional lighters.

Why Did I Wait So Long? These Rechargeable Lighters Are Amazing!
I bought the 2โPack Plasma Arc LongโReach USBโC Rechargeable Lighters in black โ one for me and one to gift โ and I am so impressed. They came charged right out of the box, and after using mine almost daily for the last couple of months, itโs still sitting at half battery. That alone is worth five stars. I love the builtโin safety slide that you have to push forward before the ignition button works. Itโs simple but reassuring. The bright blue charge indicators are easy to see, and Iโm always a fan of anything USBโC rechargeable instead of dealing with disposable lighters or batteries. The charging port is on the opposite side from the buttons and indicator lights. Just note that the USBโC port doesnโt have a dust cover, so if youโre using it outdoors, camping, or around sand, youโll want to be mindful of that. Performanceโwise, it lights every candle wick instantly. No struggling, no repeated clicks, no burnt fingers. The tip does collect a bit of black soot, but most of it wipes right off. Honestly, Iโm thrilled with this purchase. I donโt know why I waited so long โ I was tired of trying to light giant candles with tiny lighters and ending up with soot all over my hand. If thatโs still youโฆ JUST GET IT ALREADY. You wonโt regret it.

Inexpensive, easy, fast charging, works well.
Fun to use and inexpensive. These cost less than normal gas lighters and will presumably last a lot longer since they are rechargeable. I've been using them for a couple weeks to light candles and my BBQ and they do the trick, though not quite as fast as a flame lighter. My one complaint is that the battery seems to drain if the power switch is left on. But they do seem to charge very quickly, so that makes up for it a little.

Excellent plasma arc lighter -- works as well as a lighter but rechargeable BATTERY POWERED!
This thing is awesome! Safe, super easy to use and rechargeable! Does almost everything a regular lighter can do but never run out of butane! Charges with USB-C you're set for life (or until USB-D). I use it to light an alcohol lamp, and a butane stove, it lights both instantly. And the ignition tip is at the end of a long bendable stick which makes it even more convenient than a regular lighter. Somewhat surprisingly, it even lights cigarettes! Unfortunately I can't give an honest review for longevity, hopefully the battery lasts! I don't mind having to recharge it every few uses. So far I've used it 10+ times and the battery indicator has not gone down. It seems very safe too because you have to position the thing you want to light in between a small gap, it seems almost impossible to ignite something unintentionally.

Effective lighter for more than candles and cigarettes.
Good value in an effective lighter. Tested today in sub freezing temperatures with a light snow with a brisk wind. Easily ignited a propane Bertha torch, propane camp stove, propane "sunflower" heater, #2 diesel soaked sawdust. Took a little more doing to light straight up birch bark, paper, pine needles, wood shavings and a Panetella cigar. A fair dwell time needed to light beer box cardboard and a wood chip, these are beyond the scope of the tool, but doable in a pinch. My intention for this tool is for lighting camp stoves, torches and other outdoors stuff. So far it exceeds expectations. Will hopefully give it a sub-zero test soon and update this review. It is somewhat compact, but long and skinny. Breakage due to bending in a pack would be my biggest concern. Wish it was more "squarish" and less "longish." So far I trust it to do it's job, but I'm still packing a ziploc baggie of real matches in the back country! Tested (briefly) this morning at -20F. Lighter was acclimated to outside temperature. It effectively ignited propane heater.

Works as advertised!
This electric lighter works. It will ignite a propane burner. It will ignite paper within a fraction of a second. It will ignite any charcoal infused with lighter fluid or alcohol. It will ignite survival materials like Birch bark, fatwood shavings, feather sticks, Vaseline cotton balls, and my personal favorite-dryer lint!!!!! Easy to recharge with a usb! I have so many ways to charge this lighter, from my power banks, car lighter, solar power banks, the methods are nearly endless! This is a great survival tool you need in your kit!!! My only question is durability since I only just got it for a couple days. Durability of charging and battery's ability to hold a charge, and the electrical posts which does wear just like car sparkplugs. I never try to light anything too thick. Everything I light either has an accelerant or if it is thick I will fray the edges like cardboard paper. Candles can be lit in a fraction of a second if you fray or work the wick loose exposing its micro fibers. As a matter of fact everything I use it for light instantly. As a matter of fact, it lights a fire quicker and more reliably than my ferrocerium rods! 2/18/24 After three months of using I still haven't recharge my lighter. I use it mostly for lighting a propane burner at my outdoor kitchen. I average 4 to 5 lighting per day. Each lighting only last half second. I tested my other unused spare lighter to see how much use one can expect from a fresh factory unit. I pressed the lighter until it automatically cut off, it took 9 seconds. I repeated this and was able to get approximately 30, 9 second continuous lights. That's 270 seconds of use per charge. I prep my tinder material by fraying to achieve flames in usually half a second. With a spritz of alcohol my fireplace lights up instantaneously. This is quite amazing that I can get an average of 350+ lit fires with a single charge! This is a great life saving tool!

Wouldn't light my grill
Main reason I tried these was to use to light my propane grill since the igniters don't work anymore (yeah, I tried a new battery) and I figured it might be nice to leave this at the grill in it's built in shelf/cabinet. So, one problem I did not foresee is that the head (smallest head dimension is 1/2 inch, 12.75mm) of the lighter does not fit between my grill grates except where two grates meet and can be separated somewhat. But there are five burners and not all are close enough to one of these splits. The other problem was even where I could get the head of the lighter in, it would not light the burner. I could see the lighter sparking (it was at night) and I could get it right up to the burner holes, but no matter how much I tried it would not light. Brought out the usual butane lighter I use and boom, lights right up. I tried several times over a couple weeks and never lit any burner even once. It also has a drawback in lighting candles. If you cannot see the wick, for instance if the candle is elevated or for any other reason, it is pretty difficult to get the alignment between the spark and the wick. With a butane lighter, you just have to get the flame in the general area where your wick is and you will most likely light your candle. It does light the wick pretty well as long as you get the spark on the wick. Can't speak to longevity or battery life as we ended up mothballing these and went back to the butane lighters. So, while it is pretty cool, I have to give it only 3 stars as it didn't light the grill even when I could get it in to the burners.

Light my Fire
Great for lighting BBQ and Candles, no messing around with with cans of butane just plug in and recharge, the charge seems to last long time when not used, sat in the drawer all winter and stayed fully charged. Only complaint - difficult to light my Cohiba with ..... Happy Glamping.... Arrivederci
