Did not fit dowel holes I already had
Do not fit in 8mm dia x8mm deep dowel holes I had for Blum 38N cup hinges. I thought they were all the same and took the high rating to mean they would work for me. If you are drilling your own holes then you can make them deep enough but I had to cut the dowels down with a dremel. I would have sent them back but was in a hurry and didn’t know what else to order. Maybe the dowels with the square ends would work without mods, but since I was flying blind I guessed wrong.The 8.6mm diameter also seemed a bit big but since I didn’t have a press and could not find a spec don’t know what is needed.

Make sure they’re exactly what you require
Tried to replicate the dowels used by our previous kitchen installation as they hadn’t provided them. These appeared to be good match but we had to file them down to make sure they’d fit and not pull out again
