Kids love this

I have bought several of these toys. Children love them!! Will it somersault or not? What a surprise when it does, even though you know the dog will for sure! Everyone bursts out laughing, children and adults!

I'm very disappointed. I live on the other side of the world from my Granddaughter and when I saw the puppy it looked exactly the same as the ones my children had when they were little. iI was a great little toy and lasted for years. I've just had a text saying the puppy doesn't work. However my granddaughter who is only two, still loves it and has been playing with it all day so at least she is still happy .... but I'm not.

It's OK but the one I got for my Son doesn't seem to land back on it's feet. But he still laughs which is the main thing

I had been looking to get one of these 'backflip' puppy toys for my nephew's 5th birthday. I remember them from when I was a kid and always thought they were pretty good fun! I ordered this one as it was quite a good price and the dog colour shown (golden dog) was the same as the real dog my nephew has at home so I thought that would be cool. However when the toy turned up, it was actually a dalmatian! But not the end of the world. I gave it a try at home myself and was pleased to find it took x2 AA batteries, as they are the most easy to come by and I generally have those at home already! The toy works well and the backflip is always amusing! We had it on for about 10 minutes before we became a bit irritated by the bark noise, its very high pitched and annoying, so only really ever going to be able to play with this in short bursts! I wonder if theres a way to take the bark noise out? The funniest part was watching my own dog watch this and jump out of his skin every time the backflip happened! He also looked at me like "am I meant to be able to do a backflip?" LOL. Anyway, I look forward to giving this to my nephew as a bit of fun, and for the price, it fits the bill. It's not great quality but it does what it says on the tin and I think this classic toy will always be a bit fun no matter your age! :) I also bought the cat version for my niece but have not tried that out.

This was bought as a christmas present for my 2 year old last christmas. I can safely say that he has had a lot of fun playing with this flipping puppy and it was a very successful purchase. The puppy barks, walks forwards, sits down and then flips. It requires 2x AA batteries which seem to last forever in this particular toy..which is great. As others have advised - you can hear the mechanics working and the bark can get irritating. But...my son absolutely loves it and there are definitely way more irritating toys out there. I would recommend this to others.

Bought for my great granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it. Good fun value for money.

Totally adorable and just how I remember them years ago. Nice and sturdy and such good fun for baby, you would be a fool to expect it to land on all four paws each time, that doesn’t detract from the fun to be had anyway
