Why does it say diskless if it doesn't come with the drives

Because it has no disks in it. No disks = disk less.

Does this come with a 10g Ethernet port? Or do you have to buy one separately and install it yourself?

There is a single 10G interface onboard. If you want additional, you will need to purchase an adapter.

I saw in one review it works with Non-Synology hard drives with just a single warning in the very beginning, is it so?
