Appreciate how sturdy the straps are. After years of just putting my board in the back of our truck, I had to learn how to strap the board on top of our Outback. These straps work fabulously. As a woman strapping a paddle board to the top of a car, very please with this product.

Work fine and easy to use, however need to keep pulling the neoprene covers back down over the metal ends so a little annoying but pretty trivial.

Great straps for boards or stand up paddle boards. I purchased them, then I lost them. I purchased another type - they were awful they didn't hold at all. I sent those straps back and re-purchase FCS straps again they work perfectly and hold the boards securely. Well made - I won't lose them ever again!

Having used a FCS tie in the past, bought this expecting a thought through product (somewhat ignoring some of the previous reviews, unfortunately). I quickly realized this model is nothing like the other one i had used: the old model had a velcro-closed wrap to keep the metal cam parts safely padded and avoid scratching your board/kayak/... In this model, the covers are attached to the strap side of the cam lock, and once you start to tighten the strap, they scrunch up and slip off exposing the metal so scratch whatever comes in contact (the pictures show a perfectly sized pad wrapped around the metal, but in reality it is made of a soft elastic material that is very springy, and it contracts like a rubber band). I can't say i saw any other products that are drastically better (i wish i could find the old model with velcro wrap), but this one cannot be highly recommended
