Myo & D-Chiro Inositol

I've tried 4 total brands of Inositol and for me, this one is the best! I can truly tell a difference when I take this one. I also love that is also has CoQ10, so its one less supplement I have to buy and take. This is a great value and high quality. If your on the fence, just buy it!

It has been a while since I tried these, but I felt they were equally as effective as others of this ilk. The one thing I liked about his one over some others was the added Vitamin D and the CoQ10. Both were very low amounts, but it was nice to have those added. They were quite pricey.

My wife has developed really bad PMS in the past few years (possibly pre-menopause?). She read about how the combo of myo and d-chiro inositol can work for this issue. She started taking a different brand of this supplement earlier this year. It is working. She notices a distinct difference when she stops taking it. Now this Thomas' blended supplement she is currently taking - it combines several other supps she was already using successfully, individually. The use of methylfolate in this shows the quality, plus the Co-Q10. The pills are a light yellow as you would expect from the Co-Q10. This is a well crafted blend that you'll typically only see in naturopathic/functional medicine designed supplement combos. I know that people don't like having to take multiples for one dose, but the high quality brands all require that because everything doesn't fit in one tiny capsule (look up Thorne or Pure Encapsulations if you want more examples of this). Also check out the research on inositol and methylfolate for PMS, PMD, depression, and other mood and hormonal issues. So to me and my wife, this seems to be a very effective, high quality supplement combining several key, synergistic nutrients. Highly recommended.

Inositol helps improve insulin sensitivity, reduces male hormone levels in females with PCOS, and regulates and restores periods; some studies have further shown that taking both Myo and D-chiral in a 40:1 ratio is more effective in treating PCOS than taking them alone. I've taken inositol from a few brands in the past, and this product looks, tastes, and feels comparable to the ones I've had before but contains more supplements, such as vitamin D3, folate, and CoQ10. These additional supplements support the overall health and well-being of a woman. The cost of other vitamins can add up quickly, so for this product to be so affordable is a welcomed surprise; it might be the cheapest I’ve seen on the market. Furthermore, one only needs to take 3 capsules (instead of the standard 4 capsules from other brands, or 5 capsules if one takes Myo and D-chiral inositol separately). This is great for people who don’t like swallowing pills. This is the second time I’ve gotten a supplement from Thomas Remedies, and this brand has not disappointed me.

While Inositol is sometimes marketed as being very helpful to balance women's hormone, it should also be noted that it is an excellent relaxing tool and a kind of sleep inducing aide for both men and women. Inositol, which for a long time was known as vitamin B8, can be taken one to two hours before bedtime to start the relaxation process. That is what I have successfully been doing for a while. In fact, Inositol is one of the sleep inducing tools discussed by the Neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman in his podcast The Huberman Lab. By combining Myo and D-Chiro Inositol with Vitamin D3, CoQ10 and Folate, Thomas Remedies has created a winning formulation. I can feel the relaxing effect of this formation with only one capsule, that is, one third of the recommended serving size (of 3 capsules). I am giving this product five stars as I can effectively confirm its effectiveness, but still, I would recommend the distributor Thomas Remedies to have its products tested by an accredited third-party lab as a way to build credibility.

I have been struggling with my menstrual cycles for the last few years. My cycle is no longer regular and has a different duration every time. In addition, I go through very heavy bleeding every once in a while. While not painful, it is uncomfortable and I always worry about leaking. I recently started taking these capsules and noticed a difference in my first period cycle after taking them for a few weeks. My cycle went back to 3 days and more of a regular bleed. I feel like these capsules made a huge difference in my menstruation and will definitely be buying them regularly to maintain the benefits. There are 90 capsules inside each bottle. The recommended dose is 3 a day. The capsules are quite large and can be difficult to swallow. I found them easier to swallow if I drank some water first, then dropped 1 capsule in my mouth at a time to swallow it down. I needed to take a few swallows of water in between to flush the capsules down and then I would eat something just to make sure they got pushed all the way down. I did notice some stomach upset when I took these on an empty stomach. I recommend that you take these with a meal or take them at night before you go to bed so you sleep through any discomfort.
