Advantage360 Blank Keycap Set - PBT Plastic | 76 Key Set | Logo Keycap Puller

Just chiming in to add a datapoint of working great on an Advantage 2 - you just have some leftover keycaps. The versions currently being shipped are the updated set with a proper dish for the homerow keys compared to the listing picture and they are easy to distinguish by feel. The 360 and thus this set uses R1/1/4/4 1u keys in the thumb clusters and R4 keys for the leftmost and rightmost columns while the Advantage 2 ships with R/5/5/1/3 1u thumb clusters and R1/3/3/3 columns. I actually like the thumb cluster keys being a little shorter and don't miss the loss of the slight "cup" in the vertical pair; the different contour of the pinky columns seems like a notable downgrade though so minus half a star. We'll see with time.Update: yeah the new contour of the outer columns isn't great - the offset between the home row alphas and the columns is enough to wall my pinky fingers. Those keys are capslock and ' " in the default QWERTY mapping so that's ... fine, I guess, but the entire point of having blanks is being able to remap keys and the old keys were much easier to hit with pinkys. I wonder if the 360 has the same issue and me not having a 360 is the only reason I didn't dock that second star. I've attached a couple photos to try to make that difference apparent.)There are no blanks for the F row of course, since the 360 doesn't have them. I did check with Kinesis and they aren't being made anymore (nor is the old Advantage 2 ABS blank set or the short lived specific PBT in general). It's only a minor aesthetic loss though. The keys feel nice as they should, better than the stock ABS keys for sure! I haven't used them long enough to see if they shine prematurely.I took a star off and maybe should round down to three stars because $50 is poor value for blanks in this day and age, and lol lmao at $75 for the ones with dye sub legends. 141-key Keychron doubleshot PBT sets are going for $33 at the time of this writing, and there's a wide range of lesser known brands selling for even less. Kinesis used the same layout between 1992 and the 360's release in 2022; the new layout would have been a perfect time to move to uniform profile keys like most other boards of this style! Maybe they're still trying to dodge a lawsuit from Maltron? You can find charts online on what profiles to use if you want to purchase separately on your own, and a few people online have just used uniform keys anyways to varying levels of success.

Love these on my Kinesis Advantage 2. There's a slight difference in profile for some of the keys, but it's hardly noticeable for me. Nothing that changes the ergonomics.Be careful if you use these on the Adv 2 because there's some extra keycaps in the center (used for inner columns on the 360) that you want to avoid if you're replacing keycaps 1:1 from the placement in the box. Compare the profile of the replacement keycap against the one you're replacing if you're not sure (for instance, the keys 3 and 8 have a lower profile than other numbers since they're pressed by your middle finger).The colors work really well against the black plastic body. The only thing I miss is the blue color on the home row, but if you look up DSA 1u Deep Dish on Google, you can order 8 of them from Signature Plastics in a variety of colors.Great packaging, really quality, and provides a perfect place to store your old keycaps you remove. Highly recommend using these!

Gives a slightly deeper sound to keypresses, and texture is much less slippery than ABS. Blank keycaps plus extensive ZMK reprogramming helps keep people away from my keyboard at work.

These look and feel great on the keyboard and is really nice for touch typists, people with alternative layouts, or when you ultimately start moving a bunch of keys around and don't want to look down and confuse yourself.Mine actually came with a single cap missing for the very bottom row, which was not aesthetic. After contacting the seller, they promptly sent a replacement. Great communication from a company with great products.

Wonderful! I wanted to apply colored keycap stickers without compromising the original Kinesis keycaps that came with the keyboard. This set allowed me to do that. I love how my keyboard looks like and helps me as I visually train myself on the home keys & reprogrammed keys of my new Advantage360. And my original keycaps are untouched and safely put away, in case I resell the keyboard in the future or want to come back to them.
