791 Sealant Black 310ml

This is great stuff I've never heard or seen this product before i needed something for outside and the internet recommended this. I have a black outdoor junction box that was leaking in the seal originally used was coming away from the wall ideally needed to replace the box but i have that weird pebbledash insulation stuff so a nightmare to screw into hence why i got this product to seal the back of the box onto the wall and a coat around the front cap to seal it from water.

I bought this for a seal i needed around a black wooden outdoor unit, where I had some gaps from a pipe I had going through it. It sealed easily and was black to match the unit etc. Went off fairly fast and has remained ever since doing its job - Sealing. Cheap, easy to use and very effective. A1 Product

The price is good and delivery was quick. The sealant tube is as easy to use as any other sealant tube (though you'll need to provide your own nozzle). Adhesion is good but not great, so you can get some stray blobs, and with the black dye those blobs can soon make your clothes a mess... be careful out there!

What can one say about a tube of sealant? Does it seal? Yes.

Along with most of the 791 range the sealant is very thin, for myself a novice who does sealant work a few times of year this was very difficult to work with, and hard to get a good bead. It does however have a very long working time at the expense of taking a long time to skin and cure. The last joint, only a 5/6mm bead, is still not fully cured after 48 hours. The final finish is good, flexible, but taping any porous or textures surfaces is a must, and being extra careful to not touch it for a few days is essential to a good finish.

I was bought for sealing a grave stone to keep water out was not sure when applying it how good it was going to be. Tried it at home and not curing after nearly 2 months a load of rubbish bought 2 tubes a waste of money unless there was some thing wrong with this batch. Will not buy again.
