EKO Aroma Touchless Automatic Soap Dispenser for Kitchen and Bathroom, Liquid Hand Soap Dispenser, Rechargeable, 9 fl oz (Stainless)

I recently purchased this automatic soap dispenser and it has completely upgraded my hand-washing experience. I'm giving it a full 5 stars because it excels in every area. First off, the touchless operation is fantastic. It's incredibly responsive, dispensing the perfect amount of soap the moment you place your hand under the sensor. This is not only super convenient when your hands are messy from cooking, but it's also far more hygienic than a traditional pump dispenser. No more touching a pump that everyone else has touched! The design is modern and sleek, and it looks great on my kitchen counter. It doesn't take up much space and blends in perfectly with my other appliances. Refilling it is a breeze, and I was pleasantly surprised by how long the batteries last. I've been using it for over a month now with no signs of them running out. It's a small change, but it makes a huge difference in daily convenience and cleanliness. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to make their home a little more modern and hygienic. It’s a fantastic product that works exactly as advertised!

This worked for about 3 months, then did not dispense soap; the motor would run, but nothing would come out. I removed the soap reservoir and ran hot water over the nozzle/dispense end, and on the bottom of that top piece. Eventually, this removed whatever was clogging it and it worked...for about 2-3 weeks. I had to repeat the de-clogging thing I had done. It worked again, for about 2-3 weeks. That's enough. It's in the trash. I do not recommend buying this.

Very modern, stylish, and easy to use. It looks great in any room and adds an elegant touch to the décor. The design is beautiful, and the overall quality is excellent. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

This item recharges with a phone charger - so that's cool. The blinking blue light lets you know it is operational - also cool. It is smaller in height and size than other hand soap dispensers. I should have checked the measurements but I liked how it looked and that I could plug it in to charge it. The only one flaw - and why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars - is that the glass window in the front that shows the product doesn't go all the way up to the top of the soap dispenser. That means when you are refilling it, you can't tell where to stop. The other thing I'm not a fan of is the very small hole provided to pour liquid soap into. You have to pour-stop-pour-stop. I kept it though because it really is cute, it absolutely works just fine, and again, no batteries!

The dispenser is a practical mix of piano black and decent looking stainless. Sensitivity is good and the power button has a good tactile feel to it. Soap dispenses in an adequate amount. The dispenser seems well constructed but is difficult to fill since the fill hole is tiny and creates a vacuum preventing soap from flowing into the dispenser. Dispenser size is small. The most important thing is that it is not prone to false positive dispensing when bombarded with IR from other things in the bathroom. From testing it is using an 840nm IR sensor but the field of view is narrow and short. This means that owners of a Toto bidet with a remote control will not set off this dispenser unless their bathroom is extremely reflective. That's right, you can have hands-free soap and a Washlet in the same bathroom without having to tear apart cheap electronics and solder in a 940nm sensor.

I bought this to replace a SimpleHuman soap dispenser. At this price point it was worth trying compared to the very expensive SimpleHuman ones which always die within two years for me. The EKO isn’t quite as elegant as the SimpleHuman in form but works just as well. One small thing I miss is being able to adjust the quantity it dispenses by your hand distance to the sensor, whereas with the EKO you set the amount using the main button. Hoping this lasts more than two years. Will update this review!

If I'd written this order a week ago I would have given it five stars. I've bought two, one over a year ago, one in February this year. Now the one purchased just 4 months ago will not charge, warranty is, out I guess. I need to find a replacement that's not this brand. One is still working great for over a year and the other failed within 4 months. A 50% failure rate is not good. I can't recommend. When it worked, great but the reliability is suspect. UPDATE The USB-C charging port actually works if you use an overly tight cable. It pays to be persistent; I finally found a cable that would charge the dispenser. Have upgraded the review to 3 stars. I have an older version, a year older, that is not picky about the charging cable and has not had a problem charging the dispenser.
