Love this microphone. I was kinda nervous buying a microphone again at this price since the last mic I had got that I thought was expensive was a dud, talking to you Jlab pro talk or whatever it was called, but this mic blew me away with how crystal clear it sound. very sensitive, this thing can hear a mouse fart, but for my studio vocal recording for my novel I cant think of anything I could want more than this. I also use it in USB mode which I have found no down fall to that at all. the durability is definitely something, it feels heavy and premium and sturdy for real. I get giddy everytime I get to use it bc I like to own nice things and this is definitely one of the nicest pro pieces of equipment I own. The setup was easy for my M4 Max mac studio and the functionality of everything was definitely plug and play. please buy this mic you will not regret it.

I’m using the RØDE NT1 5th Gen primarily to record my vocals, and the sound quality is immediately noticeable. I am very satisfied with this microphone. The sound quality is excellent, it sounds very clear and professional, especially to record voice, music and podcast. In addition, I really liked that it includes the anti-vibration support and the pop filter, because it comes practically ready to start using.

I could tell the quality the moment I pulled it out of the box. And then once I plugged it in and made my first test recording, I knew the quality wasn't just surface. The raw tracks out of this thing are fantastic. Minimal processing required, if any. Really worth every penny. Would recommend to anyone.

this is a super good, crisp, clear mic. software and getting it to register is super difficult at times, and while it picks up everything, if you use noise suppression software, it works wonders.

I definitely would have gotten something more expensive if I knew that was the better option but it’s still good enough to keep. Definitely get it if your a beginner because it does the job and has great sound. I don’t know if I was the reason but sometimes it does cut off my higher pitched notes and some lows if it’s too isolated and sometimes I don’t know how it all of sudden is isolated lol but all around it’s a great mic for the price.

The reputation of this mic's line is already legendary...and well deserved. It comes excellently packaged from the manufacturer. The external shipping packaging was designed to protect it well and minimize shock to the mic, which I really appreciate. When I ordered it, the length of time for receipt was longer than I had hoped for because I was anxious to get it, and I was concerned about that, but it did arrive two days EARLIER that promised, which I was happy to see. If it had been shipped closer to the order date, I would have been ecstatic, but the monitoring software indicated it didn't go out for days...if I hadn't been antsy, this would probably not have bothered me at all...I still received it before it was promised. So I'd be inclined to order from these folks again. The mic is absolutely impressive. Sensitive to all the right sounds without excessive noise floor. Recording quality is phenomenal...unbelievable. It is insanely easy to use with a 32-bit float supporting software through a USBc cable (provided). It also comes with an XLR cable for folks with more professional equipment. Remember to download the ASIO plug in from rode.com. It is attractive, looks like it belongs in the studio, and fits precisely into the Rode boom (a separate purchase) which is solid and strong enough to support it properly and silently in any position I'd need. The mic also comes with a dust cover so I can protect it when not in use, an added touch that those making every attempt to take care of their recording equipment value. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase Rode products from this merchant again!

Ich bin mit dem RØDE NT1 5th Gen wirklich mehr als zufrieden. Die Qualität ist für mich ganz klar 1A – hochwertig verarbeitet, super Klang und einfach ein richtig gutes Mikrofon. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Verbindung über USB-C. Anschließen, einstellen und loslegen – einfacher geht es eigentlich kaum. Auch die Einstellungen über die RØDE-App sind super unkompliziert und übersichtlich. Man kann alles schnell und einfach anpassen, ohne sich erst ewig damit beschäftigen zu müssen. Preislich sind ca. 175 € im Angebot natürlich trotzdem nicht wenig Geld. Regulär liegt es teilweise bei etwa 190–192 €, was schon ein stolzer Preis ist. Aber meiner Meinung nach bekommt man dafür auch wirklich Qualität geboten. Für mich hat sich der Kauf definitiv gelohnt. Ich bin vorher bereits das RØDE NT-USB gewohnt gewesen und bin jetzt auf das NT1 5th Gen umgestiegen. Der Wechsel hat sich für mich absolut gelohnt. Man merkt einfach, dass es sich um ein hochwertiges Mikrofon handelt, das sich für verschiedenste Anwendungen eignet. Negatives fällt mir ehrlich gesagt überhaupt nichts ein. Ich bin wirklich sehr, sehr zufrieden damit und würde das Mikrofon jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Sollte es irgendwann einmal kaputtgehen, würde ich mir ohne zu überlegen wieder ein RØDE NT1 5th Gen kaufen. Für mich einfach ein spitzenmäßiges Mikrofon – qualitativ hochwertig, einfach einzurichten und klanglich top. Bin rundum zufrieden!

日本語のレビューがないのでマイクに無知だが使用した感想を書く。環境としてはMacBook ProにForcussrite ScarlettシリーズのオーディオインターフェースをつけてXLRケーブルで接続している。この場合YouTubeのレビュワーによれば第四世代と変わらないパフォーマンスらしい。 用途は宅録と配信でいまのところ困っていない。ゲイン調整は必要だが音質はいいのではないだろうか。ちなみにUSB接続して32bitに設定を変えると飛行機レベルの騒音でないかぎり音割れしないそうだ。他のサイトでMacのAudio MIDI設定から仮想オーディオインターフェースをつくればUSB接続でもモニターできると書いてあったので試してみたがいまいち上手くいかなかった。 専用のショックマウントにポップガードが同梱しているが、マイクと合わせて総重量が1kgを超えるので安いマイクアームでは支えられない。 画像はElgato Wave Mic Arm LPに繋げたものである。あまりにも大きい。普段はモニターの裏に収納しているので目障りにはならないもののこの大きさは覚悟しなければならない。若干このアームでさえ垂れ下がってくる。 しかしRodeの製品でこの低い位置のものがなかったので、いまは個人的な最適解だと考えている。
