I haven't rewatched S5 (with Marc Warren) and don't remember the details from when I last watched it, but I can tell you that S1-4, with Ken Stott, are awesome. The series is very dark, gripping, and worthy of binge-watching (which I did w/ S1-4), the crimes (or threats thereof) are gruesome. If you like crime thrillers and you haven't seen Messiah, definitely check it out! Review: best crime drama - I have watched many crime dramas and this is by far the best that i have seen. Fantastic in his role. Just when you think you may have worked out the culprits the tale takes another unexpected turn. Buy it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality British Drama *by M***N on 5 October 2022* Not for the squeamish and a strong stomach is required, but this drama series is compulsive viewing. Ken Stott is brilliant and he is aided and abetted by a quality cast. Not too overly keen on Messiah V as it has an entirely new cast and different feel altogether - but that's just my opinion. I would still buy this, and it is terrific value at under £20.
