**Q: Does the top detatch from the base?**
A: Yes.  The top unit sits on top of the lower and you just lift it off when you need to.  Excellent toolbox for the money.

**Q: Does it come with tools?**
A: Hi, no these don't come with tools

**Q: Does this come flatpacked or is it already assembled?**
A: Ready assembled, you only have to bolt on the castors, side handle and side shelf.

**Q: Is the hole tool chest about 5 feet tall thanks**
A: With the top box on top of the main set of drawers the total height including the castors is 45 inches.  I would happily purchase this again should the need arise, but probably won't have to because the tool chest is quite sturdy and well made.
