It is made from aluminium, has 3 bubble levels which do not intrude at all, being flush. Provision for 3/8 and 1/4 on the base unit, which also has a 1/4 bolt which is removable. The release screw is solid and smooth in action, and it will take from 38 to 50mm, accepting my Falcam F38 easily.
