Hunt A Killer: Camp Calamity - Solve a Murder at a Summer Camp, Interactive Unsolved Mysteries Game, Mystery Box for Game Night, Murder Mysteries Card, Puzzle, and Board Games, for Ages 14+

The two hunt a killer games I have played (wealth of murder and this one) are now my favorites in the genre. What a great game. It is so well made with so much to discover, a premium experience with multiple hours of game play. It took us 7 hours to complete this game divided into 3 sessions, so you really get value for money here. Also the story is so compelling, with several aha moments in between. Looking forward to playing more games by hunt a killer.

Hunt A Killer does such a good job. This case was creative and all of the items/evidence were well done. There were twists I didn’t anticipate, and some of the puzzles were kind of hard so that I had to get hints. One of their more challenging cases, but the puzzles were fun and the story was interesting. I feel like there were some holes in the characters/plot that could have been more fleshed out, but overall it scratched the mystery itch and kept me occupied for a few days solving it on my own. I like how in all the games there is always some sort of “souvenir” you can’t keep and use, too.

I bought this for a ladies game night with friends. We had a great time. Our group had a full spectrum of participants from beginners to more experienced. There was a lot of different clues and everyone was able to contribute something. It was hard enough for our experienced players, but had some easier clues for our newbies. It is likely a bit too difficult if everyone participating has never done one before. It took us about 4 hours to get through. Definitely worth the price.

The props and evidence were super fun and it took me and 3 others several hours to complete. It was difficult for sure cuz some of the things to solve were super puzzle like and time consuming and we needed to use the hints to go forward a lot. Upset there was one prop that was missing a piece we found out from using the hints. Definitely would do again but buy from the website itself

My family had a camping trip and got this. it was alotta fun but we didn't have internet, there's parts of this that require internet to get the clues so we had to postpone it for another night. the information provided was enought o get us started tho and we spent several hours combing through it and were planning to do another game night to try and solve the case with internet now that were back home. still 5\5 It was a very good night! brought my family together.

Very deep and well done story. Hunt a killer as a brand hasn't disappointed. The brand provides fancy extras in way of toys ect. This game though hits you in the feels. Very well done. Gets you thinking, great puzzles. If you love puzzles and critical thinking this is a good one to pick up.

I haven't played it yet but I've played a dozen of these so I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I'm reviewing because the images are inaccurate. It said it was a 5 star difficulty (Hard) but it's only a 4 star medium difficulty. If I'd known that, I might've gotten a different 4 star difficulty, but I wanted the hardest I could find. Very disappointed.

This game's difficulty perfectly matches its rating, so definitely pay attention to that! If you're new to this type of board game, be aware it's generally a one-time playthrough. However, it's fantastic for group play where everyone can contribute. As expected from the Hunt A Killer brand, the hints and clues are incredibly well-done and add to the immersive experience.

We were not expecting to be faced with a puzzle game and minimal actual crime evidence. If you love puzzles, this is the game for you, however the puzzles often are not defined as clearly as one would expect (so it becomes a lot about how attentive you are to small details and less about puzzle solving). If you do not like puzzles, stay away from this game. I love puzzles and solving cyphers, but was tired of all the reading and dubious clues for puzzle solving. This is not a crime game per se, such as others you find in this category. We have solved dozens of those (pretty much ALL of them available on Amazon!!), and this is quite different. Very puzzle focused.
