Still using this after 2.5 years and it's doing great. I like that it collapses, folds up, and gets out of the way if I don't need the bed in the guest room. It's easy to assemble (just unfold it!). One tip: don't throw away the box unless you have a box spring for your mattress - or else it won't properly support your mattress. I cut the box up and used that to lay across the metal slats and then laid the mattress on top of that. It can now support the mattress properly and I saved money by not buying a box spring. It keeps the bed lower as well, which makes it easier to get in and out of.

I loved it. I ordered the wrong size for my day bed XL and I need a Reg Twin. It's beautiful and sturdy. I wish I had gotten it a little higher so I can hide larger bins but it is great and not heavy and easy to set up. Highly recommended

I purchased the Inofia 6" Memory Foam Tri-fold Mattress for a twin XL bed frame, $195.34. I could not be more pleased!! I also bought a zippered cover for storage -- Cuddly Nest Folding Mattress Storage Bag with Wheels & Handles, $34.99 for Twin XL -- which is very high quality and fits the folded mattress perfectly. Additionally, I purchased the Amazon Basics Foldable Metal Platform Bed Frame, Twin XL for $108.55. The ensemble total cost was foughly $350. A far cry from the Murphy beds I priced in the $2000+ category. This combination is phenomenal. I am proud to roll it out for the occasion overnight guest. If I entertain a couple, I will give them my queen bed and I will happily sleep on this ensemble, myself. The ensemble fits into my hobby room closet, which is only 22 inches wide (mattress is 18", folded, and frame takes up another 2", folded). There is no chemical smell to the mattress -- no smell at all that I can detect. It is very comfortable (medium/firm), and took about an hour to fully expand from its compressed delivered state. I highly recommend all three items.

I’m very impressed with this purchase. Very sturdy, very quiet, very easy to set up and take down. I’m using this as a guest bed with a tri-fold mattress. Both this bed and the mattress are twin-XL. Most of the time this bed will remain in storage. The legs do seem to get in the way when walking around it to add sheets or just sitting on the side of the bed to get up. Even a light bump against these metal legs can make you cry. To resolve this I bought a 72” long pipe wrap, 3/4” round. Cut it into six even pieces and slip it on to the legs when in use, and store it inside the fold when put away. Problem solved.

Assembly: This particular bed frame is the best of it's kind. I've ordered the Zinus brand before, in both Queen and Twin. Amazon's frame was in fact easier to assemble as there were no tightening of screws required. Just open it up, pop the legs out, and done. A simple depression of to buttons folds the legs, and then the bed can be folded in half. Sturdiness: the Zinus frame broke within a month from a teen sitting heavily on it. I would blame the design flaw on where the tiny support bars had to be screwed in to keep the legs from folding. The tiny metal hooks bent and the bed would not stay upright. This frame however lasted a bit longer under my son's abuse. LOL. He did the same to this one and it split a support bar in half. I know that wood would've been far worse, so this bed frame earned 4 stars for lasting as long as it did. Storage Capacity: It's very good. You have to get the right size storage containers to fit underneath, but it gives far more room for the taller variety than the average bed. And I've just now considered that plastic storage could be used as extra support for roudy children. 😐 I don't know if there is a tougher or easier to assemble bed frame out there, but if there is, I haven't found it.

I have bought many bedframes for myself and all of them broke within weeks of owning them but this was by far the best it has lasted the longest and was the easiest to set up. And it is at the perfect height for me.

Super sturdy but lightweight enough to collapse/fold up when company comes and I need to re-arrange bed locations for my guests.

This bed frame is very well built and very simple to setup/takedown as needed. It also includes the ability to store items below the bed (which is a plus if you are a typical American who has way too much stuff). One of the best selling features of this for me was the ease of setup (doesn't have anything needed to screw in or mess with). It may be a little counter intuitive when first unfolding the legs, but once you press in both sides it allows the legs to easily go up and down. I've owned this item since July 2019 and plan on having and using it for years to come. Plus add that this is priced very well, and it is a no-brainer (especially if you move a lot, or need the ability to set it up when you have company and otherwise just store it elsewhere).

La base es muy ligera y se ve resistente, pero sobre todo es súper fácil de instalar. Ya viene armada, sólo necesitas sacarla, desdoblarla y ¡eso es todo! El tamaño fue adecuado para el colchón y la posición de los tubos no se ve que vaya a lastimar el colchón. Por la relación calidad-precio no se puede pedir nada más. ¡100% recomendado!

It is super easy to install and move around. Can store 4 big size luggage under the bed. When you close it, it is super thin less than 2". When the box came I was surprised how thin and how light it was, but at the same time it is very durable. It is just the perfect size for the mattress. There is sharp angle or unfinished angle around the bed. Very safe for kids. I cannot put into words how much I love this product. Amazon did a very good job. Thanks Amazon!
