The QO115CP can use Aluminium conductors. Here is the wire range: #14–#8 Al/Cu. Regards. **Q: Is this for the standard square d box and not the homelight series. metal clips on back and it snaps in.** A: Square D has 2 series for plug in breakers. QO and Homelite..... This breaker is for a QO series. **Q: Do these ship in the tripped position?** A: I have sold thousands of breakers. They all come from the factory in the middle trip position, though are easily knocked into the off position so I wouldn’t be concerned if they are in the off position **Q: The clamp where the wire attaches has two sides. is it okay to put a 14 to 12 awg wire on just one side? or does the copper wire need to be looped ?** A: If you look at the clamps you will see that there is a groove for the wire. The wire is inserted straight. It can go either side of the screw. Tighten the screw well and give it an extra twist. (There is tight and Electrician's tight!!)
