2TB NVME SSD

Overall, this is a great SSD with ample space for the price. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for an external portable HD that has a large amount of space which is great for holding any type of file. My main use for this HD was to hold music files I am transferring from an older HDD hard drive. Please see my list of pros and cons below. Pros: - Item is well constructed and has a quality feel to it. - Item is compact and has a key ring attachment making it easy for transportation. - Data transfer speeds are fast, making it easier to transfer larger files or a larger number of files at once. - Good price for a quality drive with ample space. Cons: I honestly don't have any cons at this time. The only possible con is that from what I believe, you can only format this drive as exfat and not ntfs.

I actually had questions on this item and was able to email the manufacturer and got satisfactory customer service! They emailed me back and made sure all my questions were answered! That told me right up front that they stood behind their product! Drive worked flawlessly so far. Some of the reviews I read had problems passing data, and mostly it was the cable. Mine worked fine but if you purchase this try using a different usb cable and it s/b ok from everyone's advice prior to purchase. Prior to my purchase I had a different external drive. I can't mention the manufacturer but it was one of those bookcase 1 TB drives and you can figure that one out on from there. I am a musician. I put all my data on it, and could never access it again!!! Worked only once. - I regretfully should have read their reviews because it seems everyone was having the same exact problem. And this well known company doesn't do updates on their interface software and their customer service sucks. They didn't even want to talk to me, and couldn't help me! So buy this one and you should be ok. I like it, fits in your shirt pocket too!

I bought this for backing up my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra because it has no SD card clot. I do not trust all of my photos & videos to *just* be in the "cloud." I have had good luck with external thumb drives. I decided to disregard the poor reviews. I should not have. It randomly disconnects and I have to restart my phone. I have not touched it, nor bumped the cable or the connections. It happened several times. I reformatted the drive three times. I made sure that it is exFAT but still no dice. It will start to transfer my videos and after 5-7 videos transfer it fails. I get the "Couldn't copy files. Something went wrong" message. Also, this message: "Restart your phone. A USB storage device was removed unsafely." Even if I could somehow get my files on to the drive, I do not trust it. It is a very expensive paperweight. These phone makes need to go back to having a micro SD card slot. SMDH. I am better off using my SANDISK 1TB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe (USB Type-C - Up to 400MB/s - SDDDC4-1T00-GAM46.) The Luxe gets HOT but it WORKS so I just keep an ice pack on it when transferring files.

very compact. Works out of the box. Reliable company product. I hope it will not lose any information over time.

I needed extra storage space. My first purchase was a Transcend 2tb. After transferring a few pictures and videos it locked up my laptop. I'm not a computer person, didn't grow up in the age of computers. After disconnecting the Transcend and hours of figuring out how to get my computer to restart, my first instinct was to format the Transcend. That didn't go well, my laptop wouldn't even recognize the Transcend. I returned it to Amazon and after searching other options I found the SSK. Reviews were really good. It was only about $15 more than the Transcend. Regarding its size compared to the Transcend,, I was surprised. About the size of a matchbox! And still 2 tb of storage space. It also came with 2 different types of connectors. Other storage drives did t even come with data transfer cables. A person would have to purchase a cable separately for their personnel use. I've transferred about 5gb onto it now with no issues. No overheating whatsoever. I don't know speed stuff on computers, but I would say it's fast. I've had others that I leave the from the office, come back an hour later and they would still be transferring data. Not a problem with this SSK 2TB. I would definitely recommend it.

Purchased Jan 11, 2024. Today is Jan 31, 2026 and the device still works like day one. Crystal disk mark results show almost zero wear after about 1.5TB read/write total. Longevity shouldn’t be a concern. Transfer speed is unbelievable and consistent as stated by manufacturer using either of the included USB cables. No issues with compatibility transferring files between 3 windows 11 devices. Excellent value and incredibly fast

I have this ssd velcroed to the kickstand of my Lenovo Legion GO and plugged directly in to a type c port. I can play my games directly through this ssd as if they were natively installed on my device. I replaced the internal ssd on my GO with 2 TB, I have a 1 TB micro sd card, and this 2 TB SSK external ssd. 5 TB of games on my Legion GO! I'm really debating on buying the 4 TB SSD SSK makes. This ssd is very compact and light weight it adds very little heft to an already beefy device. It sips at my battery my total system draw is around 61 watts at 30 watts TDP, it's as if this ssd isn't pulling any juice from my Legion GO. It also comes with nice compact type c cables. Pro tip if you are purchasing this for a Legion Go buy a L shaped type c adaptors to plug in to your bottom port so you can play plugged in to power or a monitor with power delivery.

Device recognized by my Galaxy S23, but after a few minutes of transferring data the drive became extremely warm and failed to finish writing. Ejects itself without unmounting, causing my phone to recommend a reboot. Tried on two other devices, same issues. Struggled to get it formatted before returning it – every time I plugged it back in after formatting, the files that had transferred were still there.

De momento me ha gustado todo de este minúsculo disco. Tiene una capacidad de 2Tb a un precio sin rival, es de una firma muy solida en el mercado, pese a que no se le da tanta publicidad, detrás hay una empresa muy veterana en este tipo de soportes. Tiene la capacidad de ser un buen disco para la elaboración de proyectos en montaje de video, soporta edición directa al Mac con archivos ProRes en formato HQ y no da ni un solo tiron, es una maravilla su capacidad de transferencia de datos y esta bien finalizado. Llevo dos proyectos de 1.4Gb de video y se ha portado muy bien. Sinceramente, le ha comido terreno a SDsk, al menos para mi. Ya tenéis un nuevo cliente.

Works as described and pretty fast down load speeds which makes a big difference. It does get a little bit warm but not that I would consider a problem. Satisfied with the purchase.

Very good quality and high speed

Good for the price, Super Small in Size, and super fast Read and write speed. Remember to use the cables it comes with to get the best performance, if you use any other cable it won't be as fast. Also, it sometimes gets hot but then I noticed it cools down after 10 minutes of being connected. I'm using it currently on the M4 Mackbook Pro, I've also connected it to my iPhone 12 and my Android phone and there were no issues whatsoever.
