Item was classified as used, the description said only damaged packaging so I bought it at a cheaper price. All was good with the part itself and it fitted perfectly (direct replacement for the same part)

This was a replacement for the previous version of the same item. The toilet was not flushing. Initial diagnosis suggested the possibility that some part of the flushing mechanism was blocked with scale. Having eliminated this explanation, I discovered that part of the mechanism inside the valve, underneath the green cap, had cracked because it was made of brittle plastic which was stressed every time the flush was operated and would eventually break. If this replacement lasts the same time --- ten to fifteen years --- well, I can worry about it then. Not being a plumber, I am so lucky to be alive at a time when most minor plumbing work consists of clipping pieces of plastic together. This unit proved to be very easy to install as I was not replacing the cistern outlet component. It just fits in with a quarter-turn, I reconnected the water, then I replaced the ballcock and reconnected the flusher button. Data sheets with the details and installation instructions are to be found on the manufacturer's website, as well as in the box.

After years of use this unit was becoming unreliable, fitted a new unit and all good again. Have a play with the unit before fitting and see how the bayonet lock works, take notice where the old unit lines up before removing. Ours is in a fitted unit with a removable panel so quite restricted access. Do it while the house is empty - nobody to hear you swearing!

I needed a replacement as toilet not flushing very well. I had to use this as a direct replacement and I don't think the new one is much better. I also replaced the vacuum button. Part of issue is the flush is not as powerful as needs to be and while 6 ltrs should be enough it doesn't always shift waste. If I could find a different cistern I think I would try that.

the part was a much better improvement on the one we were replacing, and the supplier was very good, delivered next day. A bit of a bugger to fit though, needed baby size hands to get into the small space. That apart works well.

Excellent product , used it to replace a broken current TD product. Very simple to fit (5mins) and with good instructions. Excellent delivery as usual with amazon prime.
