Is this made with ripe or raw green mangos?

It's made with raw green mangoes. It's a savory/spicy pickle.

I just ordered and received this product. One of the jars of pickle is broken. I see that this product is not eligible for return.What are my options?

I am very sorry to hear of your jar of mango pickle arriving broken. The many jars of mango pickles that I have ordered all arrived in perfect condition. They were thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap. Then the set of jars were all wrapped again in bubble wrap, and placed in a strong shipping box. My suggestion is to contact the product manufacturer, and also the shipping service. When properly wrapped, it would take an extremely hard to shatter the glass.

Lots of big chunks in this item. Actually, more than I wanted. So, I added some salsa and put it in a blender to make a smooth paste.

Is this actal pickle slices or spears or more chopped up like a chutney?

It's a paste of spices with pieces of unripened mango mixed in. It has a very Indian style of flavoring. It's nothing like pickles in the US. I make it into a smooth paste by blending it with some water. Lime pickle is also quite good.

Love, not easy to find in grocery stores any more. Bought when doing keto. Continued to eat. Tart and just great. Packaged well, the paper packaging smelled musty but since the product itself is in glass jars (oil) it was totally fine. No leakage.

I first tried these pickles many years ago when I was in college. There is a grocery store near to me where I can buy these but during these times it was nice to be able to order these from the comfort and safety of my living room. I like to mix the pickles in with some plain yogurt that I then put on crackers. The pickles are also great mixed in with some cottage cheese. I love Indian cuisine and these pickles give me a little taste of what I love.
