PUBLISHER VIZ Media, LLC PAGES 216 SELLER COCOBLU RETAIL LIMITED There is no actual correlation between the front cover and the actual story. Anya and Yor polaroids are on the back cover. This volume covers the Cruise Ship arc. It includes Chapters 45-53 and Short Mission 6. The content is nearly identical to the anime. The art is simple, yet it is sometimes difficult to track the maneuvers during action scenes. The highlight of the volume for me was Indian representation. There is a SINGLE panel showing a bald bearded man with two dots on his forehead, claiming to be proficient in the use of 'chak-'. Several chakras are shown around him. While initially it felt condescendingly stereotypical, I decided to appreciate that the author had the knowledge about Chakras and decided to represent the Indian subcontinent in a predominantly fictional Western world. Can't read too much into it, but it was a great depiction of how other societies may view us. Thus, this volume was personally thought-provoking.
