if your growing plants. then one of these is very handy. i ordered 5. and according to professional growers. ph test kits such as these are very suggested because they are very accurated. although expensive ph meter/ or test pens are also good, they are expensive around 80 and you can use it for a certain amount of times then you have to calibrate it again to increase the potency in accuracy. I avoid doing that because a good digital ph is like 80+ and plus the calibration to calibrate it back to default is extra. so i purchased 5 of these to get free shipping and got it. and each pack works for 250 times or 250 tests. so this is definitely a good deal to get. before you order make sure you find out the ph level you need to achieve for either your plants or fish tanks. instructions seems tricky at first but look at the same card. fill water till line. 3 drops. shake it up. and match colors. <4 simple rules. make sure to follow it. and this only tests from ph 6.0 to 7.6 so if you need a different ph number than those then check out some other products. cause this only one does 6.0 - 7.6.

They work well and great fit.

The problem with this is that my PH is way too high for this to read it. It only reads within a normal range. It does not read an abnormal range. Also, the vile is very delicate. I have not broken it yet but I will. Would be good for average use. Not real helpful to me since my PH is too high and I can't tell how high it is. It could be 8.5 or 12.5. WHO KNOWS? Anyway, not a bad deal though if you don't actually need to know the PH. My fault for not reading the description better.

Very accurate and simple pH test.

The product is great. Unfortunately, Amazon's paper bag packaging is not. The product box inside the paper bag arrived smashed, so it's not going to be very useful for storing the PH test kit. Luckily, the glass vial inside was intact.

Accurate, repeatable and consistent. Quick and easy

A perfect, easy to use pH testing kit. Comes with the tester tube and a plastic lid, a bottle of the solution and a results card. Fill the tube up to the line with aquarium water, drop 3 drops of the solution in, replace the lid, shake and hold up to the card to find out your results. Very basic, but a great price for a needed kit for any aquarium owner.Note: I did have to order this twice - the first kit was very poorly packaged. The box was crushed and the results card was missing entirely, which told me that it was already crushed when it had been packaged up to be sent to me. I submitted this info to Amazon and they sent me a free replacement.

Does the job. :) Shows me the pH of the tank. Good for the price.

Kit works well, is very easy to use and to read the ph using the colour chart provided. The only problem is that if you have a pH of 7.6 this could be 7.6 or higher so you would then need a higher pH kit to make sure your not above that. Apart from that, great value for money and good quality. Would recommend.
