Lexan Sheet - Polycarbonate - .236" - 1/4" Thick, Clear, 12" x 12" Nominal

Bought this to ensure my recent purchases would be safe from airsoft bbs. Went with a thicker 1/4, but still very clear. Just make sure to keep the protected flim on until fully done with shaping the material. This does heat up nice too for bending if necessary. This will scratch up easily as it is just a hard plastic. For cutting this material was tricky for my small part applications, but I did make it work. Using a drill press, metal shears, and a stationary sander. I will say I did get my pieces pretty hot and it held up very well with minor need for cutting melted edges with a razor. I will probably look at using a 1/8" in the future. This is strong and clear, but hard to work with at 1/4 and will scratch.

Works great on my fog lights as lens since my fog light housings and lens replacements are discontinued.

Nice and clear. Came with a protective peel off coating on both sides. I use these to place on my wall behind a glass screen computer monitor. It makes a reflection of a far view on the screen, like a mirror but also with a picture on the wall under it. This keeps the eyes' accommodation, un-accommodation, convergence, divergence active so you are not 'stuck' for hours looking at one flat surface on the screen. I also look to the far out a window often for 100% real scenery. It's too thick and heavy for my wall but will use it for other purposes. Is strong. Will rebuy, but larger and thinner.

No problems - I used to make a base for a scale so that the scale would slide along a tile floor without the scale's feet getting caught in the grout lines. I was able to round the edges using a Dremmel small grinding stone. However, when I attempted to cut a straight line with a dremmel cutting tool, the plastic melted no matter what speed I used and then "re-formed in the cut I had just made.

Very easy to cut and trim using small power tools and apply adhesive to make a nice dust cover for a nice hobby display item that would necessarily get dusty if not given some protection. Now all that needs to be done is rub with a damp cloth and the displayed item remains clean. Sharpie pens make great lines as guides for cutting.

I purchased this to make a router plate/insert for a router table I intend on building, so I haven't actually put it to use yet. However, after ordering, I was pleased it arrived 2 days earlier than listed, and it appears to be in excellent shape, with the protective paper material covering both sides. I won't be removing the paper until after the piece is shaped and drilled. I'm very satisfied with the price. My local big box only has 2' x 3' sheets this thickness for over 50 bucks. That would nearly defeat the whole purpose of building my own table to save money! Since I need approximately 9" x 11", this 12" x 12" will go to use with very little waste, and about a fifth of the price. The piece that arrived seems to not flex much at all when pressure is applied, and that's what I was looking for in the way of thickness. It's exactly what I wanted, the exact size, and an excellent price - call me satisfied!

It's good stuff break proof get bigger pieces and you got a 55 Chevy use it for the side glass. Make sure you got an extra set of keys.
