I have been using tech21 case for over 7 years now and they have been pretty consistent for protecting my iphones, I am not a clumsy person but for the time when my phone falls and hits raw concrete the case has created a barrier from broken back glass repair and edge dents, this paired with a high quality tempered glass will have you keeping your phone pristine until the next trade-in or sale. Lately the cases tend to scratch more easily than previous generations but before the glass wore off easier which was fixed in more recent iterations. Overall I would say this is my GO TO case for protecting my iphone from drops as it provides some of the best drop height distance vs bulk, thinner than most like the otterbox which is the ultimate but with the pro max 14 is too massive for most pockets. You wont go wrong with Tech21 for function, the buttons are interchangeable as well, as you can see in the pics I switched mine to the blue vs the green. SOLID 4.5 out of 5 (half star for easy scratching) oh yea and it is MAGSAFE compatible and provides a stable connection with my accessories.

I’ve been a long time tech21 case user for iPhones. For their size they are the best in protection with an low profile. Never a break with a drop. On this on though (iPhone 14 pro max) the specs feels a little off. Firstly, the window for the camera feels a millimeter or 2 off for fitting comfortable. The camera isn’t blocked but the window doesn’t frame perfectly around the bevel. Functionally, this isn’t a problem and not noticeable except for when you put on the case over the phone. Day to day use, it’s protected and not obstructed, but I’m disappointed that a quality case like this for the price point goes into mass production with an oversight like this. Also the color is a bit lighter than the former, maybe even slightly navy in certain lights. I expect close to black and this was an attempt. I also should note that I had to receive this case twice because the first one I received was in a different packaging and was opened and stuffed with an older iPhone tech21 case of a different color. Amazon remedied the situation after a few customer service calls, but that experience took longer than necessary as well. I should point out it did work out though, but after 3 separate calls. That’s a lot of effort for a phone case. Some might say though a review of this length is quite an effort too, but for millions of people, I wouldn’t want them to settle unless they knew what they were getting. I feel like I’m settling on the grounds that tech 21 evo check cases have amazing protection but the design on the camera window is slightly off.
