That allows you to line up the screen protector while the application solution gives it the ability to slide into place. Then you squeegee the solution out from under the film and allow to cure for a few hours. **Q: Why are the reviews so bad? I normally get Spigen but this is alarming....** A: It's 100% not a polycarbonate film, it feels like 1.2mil polyvinyl which is what you'd normally find over non impact screen protectors (screens that don't function with the S-Pen stylus). I work in the manufacturing of pressure sensitive adhesive film industry (Lintec Global), 3M but more specialized... we don't make post-it notes! This is clearly not what it claims to be thought. **Q: How do I get more spray solution?** A: You can actually mix a mild soap with a lot of water and it will work figure teaspoon for a quart of water. **Q: How do you clean the protector once installed? My last one started peeling up on one corner after using glass cleaner for years. Love Spigen brand.** A: I use a dry Microfiber cloth.
