The remote control does NOT control the volume; I wish it did. However, the quality of the sound and the beauty of the design definitely earn a top rating. I like the fact that the item is not bulky, but has a classic streamlined look that draws my eyes to admire it over and over again. I truly also apppreciate being able to find the radio stations with a knob. There is also a USB drive and 3 other outlets so one can play music from another source as well. You will appreciate this item. It's such a treat to own this.

Lightening fast shipping...packaged well...pleasant surprise! This little retro cutie has a lot of bang! I thought by some of the reviews that this might not be what I wanted (kitchen countertop radio/cd player) I especially loved the color selection...and after placing a cd inside....drum roll on the volume? It was crisp and had some seriously good volume! A blue light that dims...all the bells and whistles for a reasonable price! Am so tickled with it that I'm going to purchase another for my office and a bedroom. I highly recommend it to those on the edge....includes a 30 day return policy if you don't love it like I do! Did I forget to mention how easy it is (and remote) to use? A no brainer! Enjoy it!!

I had been searching for a retro style radio that was also a CD player AND had Bluetooth so I could hook to a music app. So many were too large for the space where I wanted a radio. Found this adorable radio- which comes in several colors- but I felt black was truest to period- and would fit in with our new early 50s era kitchen reno. (Our countertops are red, so red seemed too redundant) It has good sound quality, and is somewhat easy to use. Setting up to get to Bluetooth the first few times sent me back to the instruction booklet each time... as you have to hold the Mode button down for a certain length of time... but now it’s old hat. I LOVE having music in my kitchen!!!! And I love even more that it looks SO perfect with my decor!

Well, it certainly is cute and it has nice quality! But I found that setting the clock was very difficult. I finally got the 24 hour mode and thought I would just go with it but then I moved the CD player to the other side of the bed and it all began again..wrestling with the clock mode and up and down toggling…I have no idea how I finally got the time and in the 12 hour mode…I wish they didn’t include a clock and will dread the “fall behind” daylight savings reset!

I wanted a cute CD player. So I could start listening to my CDs in the house. Instead of only in the car. This radio is very cute online. But very cheaply made. I need to spend time returning it now. Because the CD player would not work. None of my old CDs nor my new Adele CD would play. I should of listened to the many bad reviews on this product. Don't waste your time or money in ordering this item. You'll be left disappointed and still in the market for a good cd/radio.

Of course I've only had it barely a day, so how it's functioning in the future remains to be seen, but it was easy to set up and the controls are easy to navigate. Right now, sound is amazing, both on the CD playing quality and the radio reception. One thing, although it was well packed, there were a couple scuffs and scrapes on it. For the money it cost, right out of the box, it should have been perfect, but I'm still happy with it, love the color and the vintage look is adorable.

I bought this 2 months ago because I thought it would be perfect for our home and it has been up until today. This morning I went to put CD in and the top would not close and we both tried there is something wrong with latch and no clue why. Last time to send back and now can't play my wedding disks on it. Has great sound and is cute.
