Atrium 6 Speakers - Black

I wanted to buy an impressive and great looking pair of speakers and I landed the jackpot with these! I have paired the Atrium 6 with the SONOS amp and it delivers clear and crisp sound. I mainly wanted to have these speakers playing when hosting a garden party and this had been the perfect addition. I am able to crank up the volume without any distortion, it had been able to handle anything the amp throws at it. The weather in England is mostly rain with a little sun and these speakers have really weathered most of the seasons in the short time I have owned them. The perfect outdoor pair of speakers.

I first bought the Polk Atrium 5s for the outside of my man cave. They’re decent speakers but seemed a bit underpowered compared to those inside the man cave. I’ve now bought the Atrium 6s and they are quite a step up from the 5s. All round richer and more full sound. I’m very happy with them so far. If you’re considering buying 5s or 6s I’d strongly advise spending the extra money on the 6s. I’ve put my 5s on the side of the man cave and bought a switch to allow me to turn either set on or off. Only time will tell how resistant to the weather the speakers are but so far so good

But… they’re honestly even better in real life. Just buy them. No idea on longevity yet but I’m not concerned.

Great sound !

Firstly these are extremely well designed for outdoor use. Brackets are clever and can be mounted in many different ways, and then swivel on one axis so pointed where you want, can also be painted. They are rugged and can be removed from the brackets if you want (which I may do for the winter months). All very impressive. When it comes to sound though I was a little underwhelmed. They give out quite some oomph and a pair of them is loud enough for my garden. The bass is particularly strong and rock music sounds really good, but they sound like they have too much treble, and not enough mid-range, which means that lighter music can sound a little flat. Feels like it's been designed for loudness rather than fidelity basically. So if you're pumping out party music: dance or rock it's probably fine, but if you want a little classic or mostly vocal (something like "Hello" by Adele) it can be left wanting.

These speakers sound great on my patio. Crystal clear sound when connected to my 40w 12 channel amp.

Very good speakers for the price. My application of these speakers was in my garage where I paired them with a Fosi V3 amplifier. Great clear sound and respectable base. They can play loud without distorting. They appear to be well made and are easy to setup. Very good overall performance with a good return for your dollar. Recommended. 2-8-25 Still think I made a good decision to buy this speaker. I do recommend that you buy the 48 volt power supply If you buy the Fosi V3 amp. It will give you the best performance in terms of power, loudness, clarity. I paired these great speakers with the Fosi V3 amplifier. A good inexpensive way to outfit your outdoor sound system.

Had these speakers out on my deck under a roof. They have been going great. The front metal grills are showing some corrosion but we are about 100m from the sea, but otherwise all good.

I did compare to 3 other pairs and they were the best by far. ot the cheapest but I love them and their full sound!
