Good deal for side cameras.
Got these for side cameras on an RV. They are compact, can stick on about any place. Wire harness is small making install easy with only a small hole. Plug an play and everything worked. Picture quality is decent even at night. The lens can be adjusted to get the view you want. Does the job.Only down side is the guide lines - while you can cut a wire to delete them, one side needs to be grounded - a pain on a fiberglass RV with limited access. Decided to just leave them and deal with the lines. Still a good product for under $20 delivered in 2 days. Will recommend.

Versitality!
This is the second of these cameras I purchased. In both cases the reason was the same... The first one was to install on my son's 2002 Jeep Liberty that we were installing a updated stereo with the back up camera and the hands free calling as well as the other modern data and music links. It worked fine and 6 months later is still doing well. I chose this camera for the specific reason of it being adjustable to the point of being useful at the top of the rear door of this mini outdated suv with a spare tire mounted on the rear and the license plate styles just don't show enough area. For all of the reasons above I purchase this same camera for a 2004 Honda CR-V that I purchase for a tow vehicle to pull behind our motorhome and the media was outdated as with the Jeep Liberty. These are the answer for those "hard to find the right spot" unadjustable cameras where you don't have to have perfect picture quality but yet it's quality is still pretty good. Its in the name of safety and now being used to this standard for safe backing. The instructions are not the greatest but if you look them over enough you get the idea except for the instructions of which wire you may want or need to cut was found not in the box but in the amazon posting.

Video quality is only surpassed by the wonderful fragrance locked within the box!
What can i say? Its a reverse camera.Pros:The scent of the item in the box is what most intrigued me. I got notes of cinnamon and rose hips with just a touch of summers lost. It reminds me of an old girlfriend. I was young, she was young, life was so much easier then. No bills to pay and the fun of making love under the stars. When ever i smell this camera, i will alway be reminded of those summers with Jennifer. Beauty unsurpassed, much like the image quality of this camera.RAAYOO! the scent that conjures up lost memories. RAAYOO! the scent that defines a relationship. RAAYOO! A scent by Calvin Klein..Cons:The camera does not hold it's position. Keeps twisting. The listing does not show or state it, but the housing is rubber and not hard plastic as originally thought.

Serviceable
I put this on my 2004 Cadillac Deville DTS. Installing was pretty easy after I done my research and used t wire clips to connect the power and ground to my brake light. I hooked the camera up to my Sony X1000 media player. The camera turns on whenever I push the brake. I’m not sure if this is supposed to happen or not. It does give a slight blue flicker when this happens. The bad thing is the resolution of the image is about 240p or worse.

Here is how to wire your new camera(s) and your monitor, read it twice : )
What I learned about monitors and cameras, and wow.! . I installed 2 on my motorhome (July ,2018) with a 2 input 5 inch monitor.(3 wire monitor) This camera comes with a 26 foot extension cable, for between camera and monitor, The red/ black wires from the camera to power the camera, are 56 (4foot 8) inches long.. The green and white wires you can choose to cut if you want NO parking guide lines OR to change the camera to a front aimed camera are found about 23 inches from the camera at an in-pluggable connector. Unplug so you can pass the camera wire through a tight 5/16 inch hole. IF you can find a way inside without drilling a hole ,good ! This gets the camera wire inside the vehicle. IF you are using just one camera, you have the choice of finding power at a rear backup light wire for the RED wire. and the BLACK wire can go under any screw screwed into the cars sheet metal, this is the Ground wire, sometimes called Earth wire. Then feed the 26 foot cable forward through the vehicle to where ever you are placing your monitor. ( A bit time consuming : ) Now the Monitor.news. IF you have a monitor with only two wires hanging out, One is the RCA plug that the RCA plug from the 26 foot extension cable goes into, the other wire goes to any 12volt source you can find under the dash or in the console or ? This power keeps the monitor ready to light up when it receives a signal because you shifted into reverse and sent power from a backup light to the rear camera. This monitor power should shut off when your key is OFF. QUESTION ? Why does the 26 foot Extension have a red wire on each end hanging out ? This red wire is used for power Either to feed the camera (NO backup lights connected) ,power feeds from FRONT to REAR, Red wire in extension cable must be connected with monitor power and at the rear, red extension cable wire gets connected to red camera power wire. OR power is from REAR to FRONT to feed the monitor,So red extension cable wire is connected with red camera wire to a backup light wire and upfront the red extension cable wire goes to the red monitor power supply. TWO CAMERAS ? Must have a monitor with three wires hanging out. One red which is power to the monitor, one Yellow RCA plug and one White RCA plug. The White plug when it receives a signal (video) (like when you shift into reverse, feeding power to rear camera) overrides and shuts off the yellow plug until the second feed shuts off (shift to drive) then the Yellow plug turns on again automatically and your DVD, 2nd camera or ? continues to show on the monitor. Simple, if you re-read it. LOL NOW BOTH my cameras, a rear view and a right side view use the red wire in the extension cables to receive power from the front and turn on. The red power wires receive power from the monitors power supply and send it to a DPST toggle switch ( A What ? ) This is a toggle switch with three tabs or connectors (poles) on the back Center is power in and center is also off position.. Lift the toggle from center off and power goes to one of the outer tabs then to a camera to turn it on. Push toggle lever down from center off and power goes to the other outer tab (pole) and the second camera turns on sending its video to the monitor. The toggle lever can be left in any position, (up)camera 1 on, OR (down) camera 2 on, OR (Center) every thing off. Done this way the white or yellow RCA monitor plugs always only see one camera. I like.RAAYOO stuff ! Face Book james Klisch I sincerely hope this has a help to U : ) .
