It’s needs threading through but no instructions** A: Hi, they are so simple & easy honestly. A really good buckle. Both of mine are now being used on the back of my kayak. They will fit through the buckle 2 ways, but only one way is correct where they lock off. You don’t need instructions. If they keep coming undone you have done it wrong, so thread them the other way. **Q: Can these be shortened in length if required** A: The belt can be adjustable.
