I didn't have high hopes on this as so cheap but its works perfect and I am well chuffed. Feels of good quality build not thin and flimsy, plugged it in and can access USB stick no problem :) Cannot run anything that wants power from the tablet but I didn't expect too, all I wanted was being able to use a USB stick and also upload images form my camera to the tablet and now I can.

Does not fit into an iPod classic. Waste of money.

These are great but they seem to be a little temperamental as sometimes I plug them in and my tablet doesn't pick it up but sometimes is does. It could be a problem with my tablets but it does the same on 3 different (samsung) tablets

I used this laed for my tablet..

Plugged it in and it worked first time. Unplugged it for the first time and the connector from the tablet came apart and the wires on the inside snapped. Shoddily put together and now in the bin. Cheap product and there is a reason for that. Not worth returning for the sake of a couple of quid. 1 star awarded only because of good delivery service and the fact that it initially worked.

I have tried to connect six different USB flash drives (1Gb to 32Gb) to my Samsung Tab 2 10.1 using this adapter. The only one that works is the iBoutique 32GB USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Elite Flash Drive.

It works although I half expected it wouldn't! I still thought it worth spending less than £3.00 on the off chance. I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1. It didn't recognise my (Kingston 64MG) USB thumbdrive at first although it knew there was a drive inserted as it offered the option to "Disconnect USB drive". I disconnected and tried again a couple of times and managed to connect to it. I tap "My Files" icon, then tap on "extStorages" and it shows it as "UsbDriveA" tap on that and you get a couple of folders followed by the list of films stored on the drive. Tap on a film and it offers you the choice of whichever Video Player you have on your tablet. I just use Video Player and the quality and sound are very good (I use the headphones). I now have a light, portable DVD player I can use anywhere. Ideal for a long flight or a holiday or anywhere really. Well pleased!

Got for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5110 Did work with USB keyboard, although that's not what I wanted it for. FAILED to work with two memory sticks. Both usb 2.0, one 1GB other 64GB. Since I wanted it for the memory sticks it has been a useless purchase. Product info is vague on compatability, " With this Host OTG cable, it lets your device connect to most USB Flash Drives, Mouse & Keyboards. Please note that some of them may not be compatible." Have posted question on what flash drives ARE compatible (With p5110, what usb 2.0 memory sticks are compatible? tried 2. neither worked. works with keyboard.). Seller's saying fat32 required not helpful. Reformated one, on another tablet (via its OTG USB), to make sure - no difference. Other reviews/questions suggest mixed results with flash drives (memory sticks).
