The product appears to be exceptional value for money, which 'mirrors' about 90% of microsoft's products, so fairly easy to make the switch-over. And it has performed perfectly so far. I did however, have a problem with installation, which was not exactly as the included instructions stated; though Dean quickly emailed helpful suggestions. Also, I had a question about the 'cheap' software that niggled me so much that I had to contact Dean for clarification; and I reproduce the said emails below: Hi Dean... thanks for your help...it all seems to be working okay...version 4.1.4. I have one more question; I assume you are one of the Open Source tech guys that has decided to make a little profit from your work, well deserved too, I might add (as not everyone will make a donation for the free downloaded software). I think it is well worth the cost to have on a cd rom too. My question is; how can customers be sure that a 'back-door' prog has not been embedded in the software, to be exploited by the perpetrator(s) at a later date? It's a good question and it's always advisable to take your computer security seriously. All our software is scanned 100% virus clean via three leading security programs, AVAST, SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes, so I can assure you our discs are completely safe. If a 'back-door' program was inserted into the original source software (that presumably, you're just copying to a cd-rom), then it would not be detected as an error or a virus, as it is just a dormant/unused and innocuous piece of software, awaiting manipulation for purposes of malfeasance sometime in the future by the original perpetrator. This kind of thing has been used for years in order to take control of 'computers' for illegal purposes, etc. I am not suggesting PixelClassics products are 'dodgy', but I don't know, and have no guarantee; unlike the 'Big Boys' who charge lots of pounds for their products, so they would have stringent controls to ensure software is safe from external manipulation. Yes, we all want cheap, if not free stuff, but we also want 'clean and safe' products, and 'virus free' is not a total guarantee of a 'safe-product'; And if you didn't write the software yourself, I don't think you can be sure of the coding content of the programs. I make this point as, there are 'Open Source' software websites offering 'free' downloadable 'Office' products, that masquerade as the genuine article, but are not 'bug-free', which must infuriate the 'Real Open-Office' guys whose downloadable products are the work of dedicated and honest professionals. I am still happy to use Office Suite 2018, but will continue to make a 'clone' and back up my system on a regular basis.

My Windows 10 pc does not have Microsoft works on it and I needed to type some documents. Rather than pay over £100 to install Microsoft Word on it for just one year, I decided to try the Pixel Office suite at a tenth of the price. Wow! I'm glad I did! The disc was the best bargain I've ever had! It was easy to install using the clear printed instructions on the enclosed leaflet. It took minutes to install successfully and I was up and running in a very short time. I had at my use all the options Microsoft Word would have offered me but at a tenth of the price! I cannot praise this product highly enough for great value for money, ease of installation and its multitude of features. You have a money back guarantee from Dean and help if you need it. Ordered Sat night received Tues , now I'm a tech dinaseur ! So for this disc to load 1st time no problem was miraculous to me as I needed to do a letter promptly , I have not investigated the other programmes on this disc but I'm sure it be all ok, fast efficient delivery , disc seems great , now not same set up as my Microsoft Word, does the job for what I wanted so yes I'd recommend seller and disc programme ! I'm only giving 4 stars because I've not tried the other programmes , doing what I want ATM anyhow !

I had a problem with my computer and it needed a restart, unfortunately this deleted the office and spreadsheet programmes installed on purchase. As I needed both office and spread sheet programmes for home use I didn't want to spend a lot of money. The first disc didn't arrive but on contact with PixelClassics within a matter of hours I was informed another disc had been sent and the e-mail also included a link to download the programme if I needed it urgently which I did. After downloading the programme I opened one of my spreadsheets and, hey presto, there it all was, exactly as it was before. I had worried about the spreadsheets but the information transferred without a problem or any re-entering of data. The layout of the office suite is slightly different to my previous one but, again, restored all my documents exactly as they were before with no problem and no loss of data. Being a 'silver surfer' I do prefer things to be simple to use and this has been exactly that, no hassle, no head scratching, no learning something new. I have also since received the disc as well so if I have a problem in the future I have it there to re-install. I must also add that customer service is amazing!! So quick and helpful with no ifs, buts or maybes! I would definitely recommend both the Office Suite and PixelClassics.

I bought this disc because my husband only uses Excel and Microsoft Office was too expensive. My husband is not that good with using the computer 82 years old, once he got the hang of it he’s doing great. So five stars for saving us a great deal of money, and giving us another alternative to the more expensive brand, that not everyone can afford.

If I just down loads Apache Open Office 4.1.15, which is FREE, I could have saved myself £15 and got the same program

Disappointed, it’s not Microsoft Office it’s a feint look alike. Maybe I was naive in interpreting this items sale narrative, all I wanted was MS Word but what this gives you is “Apache” software which looks lower grade regrettably. Maybe some folk will say what do you expect for this low price, fair enough, but it’s convinced me I have to go for MS365 the price of which I was trying to avoid.

Great bit of software! I was pretty annoyed by Microsoft's decision to stop supporting Office 2007. It did all that I needed and worked just fine but when I came to replace my laptop I discovered that I would have to replace the Office suite as well at an unreasonable one off price or annual subscription. Sorry but bu**er that! Instead I purchased the Pixel Classics office suite and have to say it works really well. All my Microsoft files seem to import with no glitches. The screen layout is very familiar. It loaded easily to Windows 10. There is nothing not to like about it. Just a consideration to be aware of, the software comes on a disc and if like me you have just bought a new laptop, it's unlikely to have a disc drive. You're probably going to need a plug and play drive but these are only around £20 so no big deal. Don't hesitate just buy it without wasting money on Microsoft's over inflated software.
