Getting the hoops to go together straight was very fiddly.Regarding the reviews about fire risk - it clearly states on the installation instructions that you cannot hang it straight off a bulb and need the bulb skirt/lamp holder. There is no burning issue if you hang it properly according to the instructions, so please make sure you follow them for installation.Surprisingly it does block out quite abit of light even though the sides are largely open, so if you are buying this to allow more light as we did then it may not be what you are looking for but it's a decent, budget lampshade. No faults just fiddly to assemble and install. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/50376003-minisun-modern-black-fabric-cocoon-globe-style-ceiling-light-shade](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/50376003-minisun-modern-black-fabric-cocoon-globe-style-ceiling-light-shade) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
