This is an upgrade for me. Never had a headboard before. Been sleeping for decades on bed that CREAKS so loud my neighbors can hear when I get up for a midnight snack.This looks real nice and I love having the cushy headboard. Goes together pretty easy but I recommend that you use a drill with a hex attachment on low torque. The bolts require a lot of turning and the drill will speed the job up big time. LOW TORQUE and finish tightening by hand.Notice that the one long bolt, iirc, is about the last to be installed.There is a leg in the middle of each side. I sometimes hit my toes on them when I make the bed. Maybe some pipe insulation cut to size would be a good idea for you (or me) to add.***Very sturdy and I really like it and it is so nice and quiet, no creaking.

I was skeptical of buying a bed frame online as I had to assemble it myself. But it was perfect! It came early, all the materials were there, the instructions were thorough, and they even included an extra bolt if needed. I was skeptical of buying off Amazon because of the bad reviews I had seen but I’m so glad that I bought this. I got during prime days so I got a bit off the total and my birthday girl loves it! It is also very sturdy (which was one of the most important aspects I was looking for). It took me about two hours to put together but I was by myself and I’ve never really assembled anything like that before. I would tighten, then loosen, then have to tighten the bolts again just to make sure they were correct and straight. Probably would take someone with more experience less time. It even came with a nice little tool to help tighten the bolts instead of just one little Allen wrentch. Definitely recommend!

Overall it's very nice. Easy to put together and looks nice and clean. However, there is one leg in the center under the headboard that will not stay up. Every once in a while, it will just fall over and make the whole top of the bed start sinking in. I'm going to try to drill a bolt into it to make it stay.

This is a lovely bed, especially at its price point. I put it together all by myself, so you can, too. However, the main tool they give you is kind of useless (doesn't tighten at all) and you need to use the small tool to tighten everything. For this I recommend using a damp wad of paper towels to hold it, or like work gloves if you're fancy. Otherwise the process will destroy your hands. Mine were hurting once I completed the bed. I had to ditch my small box spring because, as you can see it in the pics, it looked horrible. So this bed is definitely for a mattress only. And now my box spring is being used as a background for photos/filming because I don't know what else to do with it yet. The bed is sturdy, quiet, stays in place. It's very pink. It's the pink you expect it to be, no surprises in color. Just be VERY careful putting it together cause it's very easy to get black marks from the metal components smudged onto the pristine pink fabric. I managed to get one spot out with said damp paper towels when I first learned this lesson. I am pleased with it, this was a purchase for my inner child and so I say this bed is healing as well as practical. If you have a kid (or inner child) who loves pink I highly suggest you buy this. My only wish is the headboard was higher. Another set/row of tufted squares would make this spectacular. But it's great as is.
