My driveway is dirt road. So I would need to lay this down first and then fill with gravel?

Correct. If your soils are not compacted or soft, we'd recommend some base aggregate down first. If you can get the exisiting driveway even and compacted you can go directly down on the existing compacted surface before infilling with gravel. Thanks, TRUEGRID Pavers
