A very well written book on the process you have to go through to get planning permission in the UK. The book gives great examples, is easy to understand and while it’s maybe more suited to smaller projects really explains the complexities of the British planning system. If you have a planning application that you need to submit this book is one you should have in your back pocket.

A useful book pity the Local Authority Planners hinder the planning process and The White Paper on Housing is no help at all. Why do the authorities believe builders should build quicker when there is little land released from the Green Belt, are the new homes going to be placed on sky hooks!
