The screen is enormous and clear and is quite nice to write on with some bit. Glare is acceptable. Feels proportionaly very light compared to Tab Ultra/C, and makes those models look suddenly small. The official case is a bit rubbish, though better than it was, and the lack of magnetic pen support is weird - you get the magnet pen but nowhere to stick it, so I have left it in the box and use another pen. Like the Lumi 2, Tab X still feels half-baked whereas the Note Air Plus and Tab Ultra/C etc. come across much more refined/next gen. Battery drains faster than the non-gpu Booxes when just reading; it just can't seem to idle. On the other hand playing audio or video, or browsing, doesn't drain it much quicker. It behaves in this regard more like a normal lcd tablet, where you expect 10-20 hours, depending. However, regardless of anything else, if you need or want the large screen it simply can't be beat at the moment of writing this review. It is a pleasure to use and annotate pdf's with.
