Behringer DR600 Digital Stereo Reverb Effects Pedal, Silver, 1 Count

Sure sure its not the best DSP in the world, but its really not bad at all.. I agree with someone that some fo the different reverbs didn't sound that different from eachother but there is some difference for sure.. TBH I have worked as a professional sound engineer for 18 years ish on and off.. I used Behringer a lot over the years, their mixing desks, the cheap sm58 microphone clones (£14 and sound nearly as good as a sm58 on a PA). Sure there is not the same "sheen" as the more expensive options. But from my experience they always do the job they are supposed to, I never had any technical issues over the years of using them and they give you a HUGE amount of bang for your buck! I am sure that this pedal will do the same, I did not find the build quality to be worrying even though its plastic, because I do not expect it to be thrown around or treated with disrespect. The reverb especially compared to a lot of other cheaper reverbs, is nice and rich, it doesn't really sound digital and lacing in depth. It does sound 24bit I reckon.. It has a nice algorithm and I really enjoy playing around on it, it gives such a nice atmosphere... I will try some of their other pedal I think as they're so insanely cheap!!

Case is plastic so may not take a battering, changing the battery is fiddly. Current drain is 160mA so a PP3 battery will only last a few hours if used continuously. Sounds decent enough and plenty of versatility so at the price still good value.

What was not clear on the descriptions I read for this is that it is actually a stereo reverb - and a very good one too - which can also be used as a mono reverb for guitar. A variety of great sounds - the spring reverb is so realistic I just had to tap the box to see if it went "boing", which of course it didn't! The plate reverb setting is very reminiscent of actual studio production sounds and is great for adding a subtle fill to existing stereo mixes. The "level" control is, misleadingly, not an overall volume control, but a balancing control between dry and reverb, which is much more useful. On the outside a bit plastic with a fiddly battery compartment, like other Behringer pedals, but use this in your studio with a power supply and it's superb value.

I have several Behringer pedals now, and I say the same for all of them - they are great, work really well, and I have to ask why you'd pay more? Why would you? They do everything they say they do, and this reverb is no exception. Six reverb sounds in one pedal, with plenty of control and variation on the sounds. Seriously, good - how do they do it for such a low price? The "plate" reverb - my personal favourite - is absolutely awesome ..

Great reverb options, but the plastic pedal is really appalling! I mean shockingly appallingly. If you need to use a battery then its a battle to stop the pedal from falling apart and breaking (mine did). If you're going to use it with a mains adaptor and never stand on it or dismantle it, then it's worth getting for the effects, which are excellent . Otherwise it'll fail very quickly. Just as a note, most pedals use a negative polarity adaptor, not the usual common mains adaptors that fit most other things! That type won't work.

Likes: Nice enhancement or replacement to the reverb knob found on many guitar amps. I found that this pedal can produce some very rich, lush reverb especially when used on the 'modulate' setting. Sounds pretty good with my electric and acoustic guitars. The Behringer DR600's layout is based on the more expensive Roland Boss RV-5 reverb pedal, with 4 control knobs used to adjust the sound and type of reverb. It can be used in either mono or stereo mode. I would suggest trying one first before purchasing to see if it 'floats your boat'. There are also many YouTube reviews of this pedal to hear what it sounds like. The product comes in a sturdy cardboard box with instruction leaflet and my delivery from Amazon was very good. Dislikes: If you are new to guitar pedals, the DR600 requires either a 9 volt battery or 9 volt mains transformer to operate. Neither of these are supplied with the product and need to be purchased separately. I would advise getting a transformer power supply as batteries don't last very long. Not so long ago this pedal was available for around £20(ish) like many other Behringer pedals still are. The current selling price at most good music stores now seems to be around £38 (at the time of writing this review). The problem here is that the pedal is constructed of plastic made to look like metal. Whilst this was just about acceptable before the price increase, in my view it isn't now. The product should be in a metal case at the current price. Therefore I have only given it 4 stars. Nevertheless, it's still a good budget pedal and sound-wise I think that you still get plenty of 'bang for your buck'.

Great reverb pedal. Solid unit and sounds great

Para el precio está perfecto, yo lo uso para destacar un poco el sonido de mi bajo, lo tengo junto con algunas distorsiones, un compresor y un preamplificador. No mete ruido. Quizá la calidad del reverb con la perilla del nivel más allá de los tres cuartos sea demasiado artificial, pero no encuentro un contexto en el que esto sea necesario. La construcción es de plástico, pero se ve bien construido.

This is a great sounding reverb for the price you can't beat it. Alot of people knock Behinger pedals because of the plastic housing. I have 3 other Behinger pedals for years now and have had no issues with them at all. The Behinger reverb does exactly what I need it to do for the fraction of the price compared to the name brand pedals. I will admit I'm a Boss pedal fan have several but I needed another reverb and I'm glad I bought this one. I like the fact that it has the stereo feature as that is how I have my set up. I would not hesitate to buy another Behinger pedal when needed.

O Pedal é incrível, tem muitos efeitos e é bem simples de usar. O preço dele pela qualidade é o diferencial da Behringer, vale a pena. Recomendo pra qualquer pessoa iniciante ou profissional.
