I will preface by saying that I put together a LOT of furniture for myself and others, so I had experience going in. And I do a TON of it by myself. If any of my experience can help another person put this together, that is excellent. First thing: Find and give the instructions a once over. You’re not reading in detail, but you are getting a feel for each step and knowing which items you’ll need to complete each step. Second thing: Organize and inspect your items before you get started with any product like this— it’s just good practice. Other reviews for this item stated that some of the pieces were missing or unfinished. I found no problems during my organizing and inspecting, but if I had done, I could have saved myself a lot of time and effort. Third thing: If an item is heavy and you have the space or ability, move pieces in a few at a time, do that— this is also a good time to recheck that everything is present and looking good. Fourth thing: You CAN do these things on your own, but if you CAN find help, do. I put this thing together all on my onesie (it took about 3.5 hours, not terrible considering all the pieces). It would certainly have been easier with another person—especially when assembling the lift portion—who could have held it up or worked the tools while I held up the frame, but a chair served my purposes. Fifth, and final, thing: Use your own tools. Yes, these things usually come with “tools” and they do work, and it is nice, but it is easier and friendlier on your wrists to have your own tools to work with. So far, the bed is steady and looks good— I’ve had it for about two weeks now— the lifts work great and I have heard no squeaks. The storage underneath is amazing! Purchased this for $339 plus $100 shipping and tax. All in, $477. It arrived very fast, in one single box. I had zero issues putting it together. It took about 1.5 hours from start to finish, including unpacking and cleanup/breaking down the box for recycling. Everything lined up as it should. The directions were far better than you would expect and there were spares provided for every screw/bolt/nut required. Just get yourself a real ratchet and hex bit. You can use a drill/driver with a bit, but hand tighten everything (unless you're a pro) as you can damage something easily if there is no torque control. Using the provided tools would have completed the job but would have taken way, way longer. I guess they are there for someone who may not have any tools at all, but it truly makes the job easy and fast if you have a few basic tools available. I have a similar bed by another manufacturer that cost me closer to $700 several years ago and today runs upwards of $1,200. Beds I observed that look identical to this one are in the $600+ range, so I opted for this as it seamed the best bargain around. Admittedly, the other bed I have appears to have more sturdy/thicker pieces of wood. The metal components are nearly identical however. I am not sure how this will fare over time as it is not the sturdiest material, but I suspect by then we will be up for a change in style anyway, which is why we replaced a perfectly good bed with this one. To be fair, I am coparing this to a solid oak sleigh bed we used to have. Beds in this style are all very similar in "craftsmanship" (term used loosely). With a very heavy memory foam mattress on top, the storage compartment stays open just fine and it feels like a hotel resort bed. It is very comfortable, has little movement or vibration when your partner moves about and the low center of gravity seems to make the bed even more stable in the event of any kind of shaking or cyclical movement. I do recommend this bed and will update if anything changes as time goes on.

Beautiful bed and great value for the money. I like that there is no lining on the bottom storage compartment, and I can vacuum and keep it clean and just keep my things in bags. The whole bed is such a great value for the money it is unbelievable. It is so very well made. It took 4 hours to assemble and I made some mistakes along the way that I had to undo. Make sure you have good lighting and are wide awake when doing this and give yourself at least 3 hours. Don’t start at 9pm:) The fabric color is a very light beige with white threads linen type of fabric. Very calming and cool. The piston mechanism is so clever and work seamlessly and quietly. Overall 10/10 on this bed. I live in a tiny apartment with roommates so it was hard to make space to assemble the parts, but made due. So happy with with the storage compartment as all my random things will fit under the bed now, including my vacuum cleaner and tool boxes and kits weird items I had no place to put before, but tossed on the floor. Looking forward to this more organized sanctuary like room.

I’m really happy with this! As a big girl this supports both my weight as well as my partner. There’s no noise or movement. The slats are silent. I like the metal structure. This bed is extremely sturdy. Amazing amount of storage. The fabric looks sturdy and feels soft. Kinda heavy to lift but do-able Set up took about 2hours. My advice is pay attention to the labels. Would’ve been faster if we didn’t have a couple parts applied backwards. Instructions were easy to understand Cons: fedex mishandled my package. I was able to contact the company and they helped out. I had a small mark on the bed that was able to be hidden. They refunded the part. Overall highly recommend this for the price and look. It’s great!
