A great unusual and fun afternoon
Really good, unusual, fun gift. Extra expense of getting a fire together (seasoned logs, and a cheap barbecue tray), but one or two cones at a time give off really good, strong coloured flames. Mostly blue/green, but they last a decent amount of time - a few minutes (you get a lot in a pack), and I think a few red/purple cones too (they all look the same until you burn them). These cones are better than the flat chemical packets I also bought. You shouldn't cook on them, but everyone loves a fire, and very popular with any Harry Potter fans.

Beautiful Christmas magic
We used these to send letters to Santa last year as we'd left it too late to post (oops!) the colours are beautiful & it truly does look magical. Only reason for it not being 5* is because the colours don't last very long so you do need to use quite a few if you plan on having the effect for more than 5-10 minutes. Still worth it though & now a must have every Christmas for our family.

Must have cones, beautiful colours
Beautiful little cones that make your fire look truly amazing, great for an open fire or woodburner, you only need a couple at a time to give you the most beautiful greens and blues, dancing flames that lookalike you have the Northern lights in your fireplace, great for setting a romantic atmosphere or just impressing friends. The flames last for ages. Will never go back to just plain old fires again.

Atmospheric
Read reviews and thought would send away for as having a Halloween party to put in log burner for effect. Very quick delivery and well packaged! Tried 2 of the cones and they burnt for well over 45mins the colours were totally amazing!!! After giving the cones a quick poke around they still lit up beautifully for a good few minutes more! Have to say they are very very atmospheric so really looking forward to the party and having on log burner!!! Would highly recommend

Look at the pretty colours
These were pretty good, you need to chuck 5+ on at a time for best effect, it does look good thou, I'm going to try the packets next time
