Great product, worked really well and as you only need to use a little bit at a time this pot will last me ages.

Really great product. It's initially misleading because the pot seems so small but it goes so far. I used it to make Christmas gifts and they came out great. Easy to use and definitely worth the money.

Ideal size and texture

I recently purchased the pot torch paste for wood burning and let me tell you, I felt like I was trying to start a campfire with a tiny sparkler. This thing is so small, it's like trying to light a bonfire with a birthday candle. I had to use a magnifying glass just to find the darn thing! But hey, it's perfect for those moments when you want to feel like a giant roasting tiny marshmallows over a microscopic fire. Just be prepared to take some time and patience to get that fire going, or you might end up with a burnt eyebrow and a whole lot of disappointment.

I tried a few cheaper options and the paint didn't burn, it stayed red . I bit the bullet and tried this paste. The consistency is much thicker than the paint, it's more of a gel. I put a thin layer over the stencil and then scraped the excess off and let it sit for a good 10 mins and then used the heat gun to burn it. A normal craft heat gun won't work as it doesn't get hot enough. You need a heat gun that reaches about 300c. I held the gun away about 3-4 inches and kept moving the heat in slow side to side motions. In total it took approx 5 mins to burn. The pic I've attached shows the top left stencil was a paint that actually burnt the wood to get the paint the burn and the top right and bottom are both with torch paste and havent burnt the wood, just the paste burnt. I'm so happy with this paste. High recommend paying the extra for an item that actually works. The tub is small BUT the amount you need is tiny and whatever you use, you scrape the excess off and put back into the pot so none is wasted

Works well. Needs a bit of practice to not smudge. It's a tiny pot, but goes a long way!

I was very cautious about buying this product as it was quite expensive and not a very big pot, however I bit the bullet and ordered it.. OMG it’s amazing.. I now longer have to spend hours and hours burning by hand.. I got a nice deep brown burn as well.. it amazing! I was unsure if my crafting heat gun would have enough power but it did and it didn’t take as long as I was expecting it to neither. I didn’t use very much and I was quite surprised as I burnt quite a large piece. I’m hoping smaller pieces come out just as well! Brilliant product.. does exactly what it says it will!

Pictured is my first attempt using Torch paste. Have worked out my errors (marks outside of pattern) so know how to NOT do this again. I love this paste. And it's true, to only use sparingly.
