I used this to finish off my inner fenders on my Jeep where I had cut holes for an aftermarket sway bar disconnect. Worked great. I did not have to notch as much as suggested to go around curved areas. Seems to stay stuck on well. I guess after more offroad use I will know for sure but if I have to re-do it occasionally I would still recommend!!

Great quality! Multiple uses! I have a wooden painted handrail on my stairs that was slippery. I covered the top of it with this and it not only looks great but is a great relief and the rail is easy to hold on to now. Get this!! I also wrapped it around the edges of my front door!! 3 sides!! It seals it tight with no air leaks anymore!! Love this and have bought it twice already! Easy to work with, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Trim works as it should. I love the adhesive and sticks well to the sheet metal which is what I used. It is a little tough to work with but other than that it protects edges, slim, and looks nice.

I ordered this to cover the edges of some plywood in an outdoor installation. I painted the plywood with glue first (and let it dry) to give it a smooth surface for the adhesive to bond; but the adhesive is very sticky and I think it likely would have stuck well without that. It is much softer than I expected. In my application that doesn't matter, but it might in yours -and that could be either good, or bad, depending on what you want it for. I would guess it is about 50 durometer Shore-A, which is about like a bicycle inner tube. Nice and soft, very flexible. I ordered the 3/4" size, and it fit well on my 3/4" plywood, which -as most know- is always slightly less than 0.750". There seemed to be a bit of room to spare, so I believe this is nearly or exactly 3/4" ID. I found the application very easy: I peeled off the liner from the center adhesive first and got that positioned and stuck down, then peeled off the side liners. I'm sure it would also work to peel one of the sides first.

This actually works quite well once you get it on. As soon as you take it out of the bag it turns into spaghetti. The red strips are supposed to keep the sticky parts from touching until you put it on your project. They don't! I had to frequently pull the sides apart before i could put it in position. The adhesive is good. Overall I was mostly happy with the results except for the one corner where the adhesive got dirty and didn't stick. If the spaghetti issue was fixed I'd give this 5 stars. Otherwise it gets 4.

I have a repurposed plant stand in my home office that I use to hold stuff for work. The plant stand has a metal base with a raised metal edge (to hold pots, of course). However, I don't care for the thin metal edge when I am using it for other purposes. This trim was PERFECT to clean that up. I had 4 circular shelves that needed to receive trim, and 10 feet was the perfect amount. I generally pride myself on including excellent photos with reviews, but unfortunately it was hard to do with this. I apologize for the quality of the photos. Because the shelves I was trimming had support poles, I had to cut the trim to fit. It is easy to cut and semi-easy to measure (it does curl up on its own d/t packaging). The instructions make a ton of sense - place the trim, adjust to where you need it, then use tweezers to remove the plastic film, which exposes the adhesive. However, in my situation, I could not reach the film when applying, so I removed it beforehand and applied the trim after. This is less than ideal, because it then sticks to itself, but I was still able to apply it relatively easily. I was even able to slightly adjust it after initially applying it. Again, not ideal, but this isn't a project for NASA, and it still turned out looking great. Overall, after applying this trim to the metal edges, my plant stand / desk companion ended up looking CLEAN. I no longer have to worry about the edges scratching my keyboard, xbox controller, tv remote, or whatever I decide to place on it. At $7.99, I feel like I got a great value.

Facile à poser, je l'ai posé et coupé avant de retirer le ficelles rouges pour que ça colle. S'adapte super bien aux courbes des portières. 3m suffisant pour les 4 portes de careau jusqu'à le protéger plastique en bas de la porte. À voir dans le temps, mais avec colle de 2 côté (interieur ne suffre pas des éléments), j'ai grand espoir. Je protège toutes les voitures garées à côté de moi sur le parking serré 😉
