Important to test nitrate levels before using and after - otherwise you’ll risk algae and other issues. Get yourself a test kit first.

**Q: Is this suitable for a community tank with Vallisneria which is going a bit brown? I have root tabs already**
A: This is a good fertiliser to use if you have an excess of phosphate.  This might be why your Vallisneria is turning brown, although there are of course other causes.  I have used it for months and it does not cause any problems with fish or shrimp.

Superb product, seems to take time to see chemical change in the water but tested as stable and put my nitrate levels into the ideal range for my planted tanks. Important to test nitrate levels before using and after - otherwise you’ll risk algae and other issues. Get yourself a test kit first.
