The dry gel lead race battery gets depleted with the alarm and immobiliser. Battery only read 7V (not enough to start the car). I charged up the E/START with the supplied USB cable and my iPad charger - took ten minutes. Car fired up first time. Perfect! Review: Steer well clear - Hi this e starter800 worked fine when new. We have had it for under 5 years and probably only used it 5 or 6 times, tried it again today and the lights came on the starter but the car barely turned over as though the capacitors have failed. I contacted Sealey technical department who could offer no help or advice other than to buy a new one.
