Does the bow need to be untied to open the box? I am making a display with the train, ticket, and bell and want to keep the box/bow for display.

Hi! You could probably slide the ribbon off one side and loosen it rather than cut it off. One suggestion another customer used was to save the ribbon and bow, cut it, and glue it back to the lid and box after opening so you would have it for display for years to come. Hope this helps! Thank you!
